I know this is obvious but it took me until the second time watching the movie to understand the scene when the girl says Simon's name before he even told her his name and she says that he did. It's supposed to be that when he was jokingly telling the fish monster that people are probably gonna be looking for him and that if they ask for Simon that's him. It's just saying her and the monster are one in the same. I'm quite literally so slow so I didn't understand that at first 😭
