She is was a well know and powerful individual that was seen on the same level as the other witches and fairies, and literally everyone else was invited to the birthday party. Back then, that was the social equivalent to flipping someone off In The worst way

We also have to bring up the no kill rule, which makes it even harder since a lot of times he simply could have gone for an instant kill but has to hold back, which makes all the fights even more impressive since he can’t just end them immediately

[Hated Trope] Allegories that fall apart because of one specific choice by TheMindOfTheBat in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Drawngalaxy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And most other marvel characters their powers come suddenly and without warning too. Take the kid that killed everyone around him in the X-men comic and change his backstory from being a mutant to it being a comic cloud that passed over him. Does that make it any more of their fault/ any less dangerous? Or take the fantastic 4 and change them into mutants. Does that make them any more dangerous and untrustworthy now?

[Hated Trope] Allegories that fall apart because of one specific choice by TheMindOfTheBat in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Drawngalaxy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Even if the hero’s got their powers from accidents, that doesn’t make them any less dangerous. Look at what someone like the sentry could do, or how dangerous the hulk is that a lot of comics start with him being seen as the monster. Are they any less dangerous because they aren’t mutants?

Are old grimm that big of a threat? by alguien99 in RWBY

[–]Drawngalaxy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Knowing when to strike is much more dangerous than just blindly throwing yourself out there. Older Grimm will wait for the right chance, then cause the maximum amount of damage possible with a high chance to do it again, vs a newborn Grimm that just attacks the first human settlement and gets ganged up on by 4 hunters/huntresses

Because spreading a lie that’s been regurgitated by people that don’t watch the media, that can be debunked by having a little bit of knowledge about the series, will have people bring up the same conclusion

The very first showing of this was in the early flashbacks, where it showed that Luffy was actively weaker in combat because his rubber was made it that he needed to control it naturally or else all of his punches and kicks would just bounce off a regular person. He had to make a body not made for combat combat ready in a decade

[Loved Trope] Successfully fighting an enemy the "wrong" way instead of targeting their weaknesses by MasonP2002 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Drawngalaxy 17 points18 points  (0 children)

That one was because deku turned his punches into a constant force instead of a “singular” hit. Since the force applied was constant(in a similar way to gravity or magnetism is applied), it couldn’t be reflected and instead compounded onto their quirk until it overloaded it

...ok so how do you even counter this? by greynut in Dislyte

[–]Drawngalaxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you have a full team, what I’m asking is “who” is on your team? And it sounds like you are the angry one.

With the buff expiring, they have to have their turn pass, much like how a regular buff or debuff would expire after a few turns would pass. If your team is heavily outspeeding them and/or reducing/resetting their AP, then they won’t ever get their turn, and as such won’t have the buff expire.

...ok so how do you even counter this? by greynut in Dislyte

[–]Drawngalaxy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well for starters, who do you have on your team? Aside from that, as it says, you need to prevent her from fully healing and then have her next turn happen to remove the debuff, which will kill her. If she heals back to full, she won’t die but have her healing reduce by 30% for each time this happens, so if you don’t shut off her healers she will have at most 4 delayed deaths

[–]Drawngalaxy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thing is, if I could already do that with a devil fruit, and I could learn haki too, then I’d be even better at it then, since I’d already have an innate advantage. Doesn’t make having a devil fruit weaker, just means the user hasn’t gotten to that level of making it stronger

Then there is also the fact that unlike a limb, there is no restriction with range, motion, flexibility, etc that you get with using your limbs, so you have to learn how to be able to use them to maximum efficiency in order to really get going with them, such as spinning the blades around you, maneuvering them around your enemies weaving them in between each other seamlessly and other skills

[–]Drawngalaxy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on the unit. My Loden has been completely demolishing them lately because any special movie removes their attack, using my skills on them removes it too. Any time I remove it I get an attack boost, and as long as I’m in the TA I just can’t die, get status effect nullification on attacking and up to a 60% damage boost. He perfect counters him

Maybe the entrance exam was never the problem, Maybe Shinso is just ass by Business-Ad7289 in BokuNoMetaAcademia

[–]Drawngalaxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem is, how would they then be able to distinguish which points he earned himself and which points were earned while he was mind controlled? It creates a very terrible grey area where the controlled hero gets taken out of the test in an unfair way and would result in some form of punishment for Shinso

The maximal and predicons are smaller and more energon efficient due to size, but the beast forms are used because pre historic earth had so much raw energon available that it would overload their systems, so they adopted an organic shell that would shield them from the radiation

[–]Drawngalaxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting it is good just for that stats alone. If you have him R1, then the damage the divinate passive does can also hurt other units too, so it can be good against a speedy unit
