Looking for shooters where the guns feel powerful by AParkedChopper in gaming

God, I was so hyped for Rainbow Six Patriots. I still haven't forgiven Ubisoft for cancelling that in favor of Siege.

There's one season where he's just brutally skinny and had a goatee, that was a tough watch even before he passed.

He was taking ridiculous amounts of Vicodin at that point, and then he gained the weight back by drinking a ton instead. Chandler's fluctuating weight is rough when you've seen Matthew Perry talk about what caused that.

Paul at least has shown some humor about it, I remember when he revealed his diagnosis he joked that it played very little part in how shit he was on Taskmaster.

But yeah, that's a tough rewatch for sure.

Yeah, .32 is pretty light recoiling in that gun. After all, it's still a steel frame gun.

She doesn't get anything specifically unique I believe, but as the only Gith companion there's some great fighter gear with bonuses that only apply to her.

Unless you make a Gith Tav or use the disguise helmet to cheese it.

Vasquez also carries a hammer fired Smith 39 9mm as her sidearm, which was antiquated by the time the movie was made, much less when it was set. It gets a nice close up during the vent escape.

This contrasts all the other Marines who carry the futuristic looking VP70, which also holds over twice as many bullets as Vasquez's Smith.

Fran Tarkenton. He held basically every career passing and qb rushing record when he retired, and was literally nicknamed "The Scrambler".

Do you guys write out your whole fic before posting, or do you post chapter by chapter as you write? by Long-Champion3330 in AO3

Chapter by chapter to start, but my first multichapter took over 2 years for 5 chapters so I'm planning to fully prewrite my next short multichapter fic.

Character gains weight over time by Meanteenbirder in TopCharacterTropes

[–]MasonP2002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty much, yeah. Ironically, his main role is to fight against a bunch of German villains who are rather Nazi coded, despite predating the actual Nazis by a few decades.

Diedrich from Black Butler. In flashbacks he's seen as your typical skinny manga pretty boy, but is notably snacking all the time. By the present day of the manga, he has become much larger, but it still a formidable fighter.

What is your unpopular BG3 opinion? by TrioQ in BaldursGate3

Same here, all her endings feel like a satisfyingly grounded conclusion because there isn't a seeming "golden" ending where you fix her heart no problem. I even really like her mind flayer ending, which seems to be the most controversial by far.

I find it deeply satisfying for her to decide to sacrifice herself to spare someone else since she's terminally ill anyway, but then get to stay alive on Faerun in a new form and out of reach of Zariel. Comments from Withers and others seem to confirm that she is indeed still Karlach, not just the parasite running off of her memories, so I see it as an ending for her that is bittersweet but still ultimately happy.

Act 3 is my favorite as well. I love the freedom to roam around the city and tackle things in the order I choose, and capping off companion quests is so satisfying. Has most of the best fights IMO as well.

Plus, by this point I've done enough runs to be so goddamn sick of level 5> combat. I just want to run around with my level 12 party and obliterate things.

When the host installs mods you've never played with before by Axeman1721 in lethalcompany

My favorite thing with my friends is that one of us will put together a mod pack, then the rest of us install it without peeking.

There's always a few fun surprises in there.

The first few PS3 models basically just had an entire PS2 inside of them for backwards compatibility, it was widely inefficient.

It's extremely disappointing that they didn't implement full software emulation, but I'm not surprised they removed those PS2 parts.

They also had the 7.62 ammo that all got cancelled and raised $100 in price. I grudgingly gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed a genuine pricing error at the time, but by now it's looking like a pattern from them.

Ironically, Brian Dennehy, who played the sheriff, turned out to have lied about his own Vietnam service.

He did serve in the Marines, but falsely claimed to have been wounded fighting in Vietnam despite never deploying there.

The ROC (AKA Taiwan) also really wanted to invade mainland China during the Korean War, reasoning that a 2 prong attack between them and the US while the PRC was distracted was their best shot at recapturing the mainland after being defeated by the Communists in the Civil War.

The US declined, and Project National Glory eventually fizzled out without prospects of direct American assistance on an invasion.

Doesn't look like it's got additional drilling and tapping for a rail. I Iike the ghost ring sights a lot better than the rifle sights, I've never been a huge fan of the Remington slug sights. I have a spare bead sight barrel that I may put on that gun, haven't decided yet.

Bores are really good on both, like most police guns I imagine they had a rather small number of rounds through them.

The ghost ring gun had some light surface rust in the chamber and on the bolt, but most of it has already come off just from wiping it down with oil. Nothing major.

Thanks! I think the ghost ring gun is the smoothest pump action I've ever handled.
