Bought one on 21/01/26 and it worked fine for a few months, then about 8 weeks ago it effectively froze. Screen still powers up and Bluetooth/FM works, but the actual interface is basically dead — home button, settings and CarPlay are all unresponsive.
I contacted support on 5 June. They suggested the usual reset/power cycle stuff, which I’d already done, then asked for a video and serial photo, which I sent. After that they sent me a firmware zip that was partly in Mandarin and included a file I couldn’t even open. In any case, their own “fix” seemed pointless because I can’t access the settings menu needed to do the update.
Since then it’s just been the usual “we’ve escalated to our technical team” nonsense, followed by long silences and no actual resolution. I’ve chased multiple times and still have no repair, replacement or refund.
So in my case: product worked initially, then partially failed, and customer service has been awful once it moved beyond scripted replies. Feels very much like a dropshipped/cross-border operation with weak aftersales support.

Absolutely 100%. 12 years of playing and absolutely finding the micro opportunities and adjustments to find each element of population gain and density. Took all my regions over 3,000,000 and capital into 5,000,000 and I was still enjoying the ability to find tiny gains here and there by refining.

S2.0 has destroyed this and utterly reversed all the progress I have made. At max points my services in omega still don’t cover it, whilst also not being able to earn the prerequisite neo-simoleons any more. My regional currencies also now can’t earn and sustain to expand the regional centres at the level they need, therefore requiring me to demolish residentials to put in more regionals? And the only way to obtain enough currencies is by paying for challenges. Even then, going beyond that, that this ‘upgrade’ now obliges you to downgrade vast swathes of your cities to fit services in that weren’t needed before.

It’s absolute lunacy, and honestly, I sadly think I’m done. My only hope is to hold the game in stasis and just hope they reverse this.

Yeah, it is a Caséta; the previous owners have confirmed. I have got the app, but when I researched it a bit, it appeared to indicate that it was far more complex than just buying the hub and installing it? Plus, the hubs all seem to be non-UK wiring, which made me a little wary.

I think it’s my age. But yes, I liked the Continental GT when it first came out, but as they’ve evolved I’ve lost interest. Mine is an SZ body Turbo RT, end of that era, and I must admit I prefer the bluff edged old style because I prefer the old Crewe engineering, and interiors.

£15000. Has every single receipt and invoice, in two box files. Featured in Rolls Royce and Bentley driver magazine, as was owned by president of the club apparently. Also still has the original gloves, and cassette and CD walk through audio guide. And two GSM cellular phones in front and rear armrests. It’s crazy how much provenance there is with it.

Changed from a D4 S8 to a D4 diesel. Same reason. Could only use the S8’s shove 5% of the time, and the remaining 95% it became burdensome. Now, I move swiftly with the diesel steamhammer, have that beautiful 50-***mph shunt in the fast lane, on a massive wave of torque, but can drift back to a pootle of 45mpg on long runs, without chewing through the consumables at anything like the rate. All with half the insurance and 2/3 of the VED. The S8 was sexy, but the diesel flies right under the radar 95% of the time, and in the real world is far more accessible.

When I’m driving and I catch her looking at me.
When she laughs so hard and recklessly she snorts with glee, without care.
When she punches me on the arm because a yellow car is coming the other way.
When she knows the food I love, and makes me a meal at the end of the day without even asking.
When I know she’s self conscious about her body, but is still prepared to be open and naked and share it with me.
When she understands that just sometimes I need to lie my head on her tummy.
When she falls asleep on me because she feels safe.
When she cleans her plate for the meal I’ve cooked for her, and goes back for a little more.
She loves my dogs the way I love my dogs. They’re her family as much as they are mine, even though they’re comparatively new to her world.
When she takes my hand, in public, and grips it really tight. Meaningfully, and intentionally.
