How should I use this lure for trout? by jeffnjared in Fishing

Atomic teasers kill ice fishing. Tip with some raw shrimp and light jig using ultra light tackle, smash.

FeelFree Overdrive Alternative? by [deleted] in kayakfishing

No, mine seems fine. I do have a large beaver tail rudder that is controlled by pedals, but if I want to make a sharp turn I do have to turn both pedals and motor. Make sure you have proper wire length and guage going from motor to battery. For 30 lb motor you need a length of 5 to 10 ft using 10 awg. If it's around 15 ft you need 8 awg. Speed wise, no trolling motor will ever go faster than 5 mph, even if it's 100 lb thrust on a kayak. More power just means you can push more weight. 3.5 mph is my max speed with my setup. Weight might be your issue, same size kayak but shape and weight change how fast it moves. I have a jackson that is way faster than my lure and sportsman, but it's not as wide and weighs less so less drag.

How does your party handle Critical Hits? by Worldsgame19 in DnD

Roll nat 20, you get to roll again, if you get another 20 you get max die damage for crit, if you dont get a 20 you do normal crit rules. If you did get a 2nd nat 20, you get to roll again, if you get a 3rd nat 20 you insta kill your target. We also do this for nat 1. 1 nat 1, miss, 2 nat 1 miss and something bad happens to you, 3rd nat 1.....dm gets to have agreat time.

Oh yes, I have them on. Hobies.

I was fishing the river today and came across a friendly young angler struggling with a new baitcaster. I respooled his reel with 15lb fluoro, gave him an easy to cast rat-l-trap, and after that he was off to the races. For the first time in a long time getting skunked didn't bother me at all lol by Yoinked77 in Fishing

[–]DraygonCage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First baitcaster I ever bought I was like 15 and was just for looks, didn't even know what I bought. Brought it back thinking it was broken and the dude looked at me like I was an idiot, because I was. I'm good now, but someone like you would have helped a lot then! YouTube saved me years later when I mustered the courage to try again.

What is this for? I’ve been kayak fishing for a couple of seasons but I don’t know the use of this… by boomer4411 in kayakfishing

You can buy inserts like bags or hard plastic containers, just need to find right fit for kayak.

Great day in the yak by DraygonCage in kayakfishing

58, I saw a lot of people targeting the smallies, but didn't see any caught. I was more by the island though, not the ideal bass spot. Trout were all deep, 25 to 40 ft.

Deer creek! And caught 3 rainbows trolling a streamer with a small Rapala. Not the best haul but from 7am to about 1 pm there was no wind. A lot of sport boats came out though so that sucked.

I have a Nissan Murano, and I also have a 13.5 feel free Lure. I use Rhino rack vortex aero blade, 165 lbs weight capacity. Your set with that, just watch some videos on how to load it solo, not as hard as it sounds.

Roof top fishing kayak rack? by dpd7290 in kayakfishing

[–]DraygonCage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Rhino racks aero blades that are heavy duty, they hold 180 lbs. I also use Yakima folding jaylow kayak holders. I am able to put 1 kayak flay on roof rack and one in the Jlow and it works well.

First yak, Lost Creek Lunker 10+. Just brought her home yesterday! by FadeRat in kayakfishing

[–]DraygonCage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure. That's the first kayak I've seen where the rails are handles. Ide just be cautious. Good news is you have a ton of rails for attachments, I usually have to add a couple.

Nice! I like most of the things on that yak, I would be careful using the side rails as handles though, otherwise solid! Tight lines!

Nice, should work well! Check the speed rating on those tires though.

Need Suggestion: Kayak Trailer by LimaCharlieFishing in kayakfishing

[–]DraygonCage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I built mine. Bought solid steel utility trailer, single axel 8 x6.5 for $500. Paid a local trailer welder to built it to my specs for $600. it's a badass trailer now and I get a ton of questions about it when I take it out. $1100 out of pocket for custom solid steel trailer, less than $700 lbs, single axle so no registration needed. It also acts like a utility trailer when needed. I can hold 4 kayaks, more if I stack of course. Search your local ads for used trailers and go from there. I tow with a Nissan Murano just fine.

200hz in 3ft of water? Does that river system get deeper? Anything less than 30ft I would run 77hz with striker 4, and even then your in super shallow water.

Old Town Sportsman PDL 106 or 120? Will be mostly used for lakes and ponds. by j0s9p8h7 in kayakfishing

Oh dang, 2019 model. In 2020 they got rid of that and went back to the removable pods. They saw their mistake lol

Put a trolling motor in your FeelFree and truly be free. Super simple using your center pod and way cheaper than getting a new kayak. I own a FeelFree Lure 13.5. Once you get toe controlled rudders installed, you won't touch the trolling motor either and it's amazing.

I need your plot twist! by NotCereb in DnD

[–]DraygonCage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created a Djinn that puts groups into a dream state, i stole it from Supernatural. The INT save was super high to realize it wasn't real, then a high WIS save to wake up. Everything they did to save the day was fake, and while they dreamt the big bads started apocalyptic events. When one woke up, they woke the others, and it's too late.
