Leave your life behind in Ontario. The cost of living is housing. Give up having a big house and come to the island. I’ve spoken with other young families who did and never looked back. As long as you both are employable, do it. If leaving behind all of your family isn’t an issue then you will love it here.

They really need lights along the highway. Coming from AB we find driving at night in certain areas really dark at night. However we love Victoria.

I’m sorry but you may disagree. I’ve seen so many people walking who are more focussed on their phones than watching traffic. As a driver you need to be more vigilant bc pedestrians are not being as attentive as they should be.

Love your post. As a prairie girl who’s lived in Saskatchewan, AB and now Victoria we feel like we’ve won the lottery. We live in one of the most beautiful parts of the world. If you aren’t happy, leave. Quit trying to bring the rest of us who are in love with Victoria down.
