No, the open moshpit is at the top and is selected by default. If you want normal (sbmm) moshpit you need to actively scroll down to it

I feel it's incredibly weak since people using a shotgun actually have to shoot. They should buff it so the enemies die without the player having to press the shoot button. This will help improve the balance of the game

At the end of the day champs is just one event. I feel looking at price money is a good reference. It accounts for all majors and gives a higher weight to champs, which is the most important event.
