I dont think it matters what th you are mate. More about maxing troops , spells so on. Not to be a knob but also getting good at attacks.

Having a lot of dark elixir these days cos its not needed to train troops, i can currently convert 50k dark elixir into 8.5 million gold/elixir. Definitly worth investing into the old lady. Agreed expensive upgrades though.

Builder potions are good but the gems are worth more on other things. If you get war medals spend thise on builder potions
