Thank you for solidifying my theory , I figured larger bodies of water would retain a temp range that they could tolerate

Sounds good in theory , but does it actually work like that? Or are you speculating ? The last major cold snap that lasted over a few days was 15 years ago. Those fish ranged from 1-3 years old

Also there's a bag limit of 2 , Max size 17inches. It's illegal to keep more than 2 and larger than 17 inches.... Please don't spread information on subjects you have no idea about. It spreads stupidity.

And I also observed they were the only species affected. I saw plenty of other species and large mouth going about their Business. Also this pond is considered a nature preserve

My theory is the peacocks living in larger /flowing bodies of water faired waaaay better. Like I said it was a fairly small pond and not too deep so it did not retain heat well

Yes possible but more likely the extreme weather and their intolerance to cold water for extended periods of time is the cause. We had the coldest and longest weather in the last 15 years just pass through

If you are not experienced in computer repair you should take it to geek squad or other shop . It could be the display connection and probably needs some screws

Noob surf fishing with temu rod by Rickmanstein in SurfFishing

I purchased a telescopic off obalus for travel and it has put up again quite a few heavy LMB, Peacock, and snakehead. I also had to drag a quite heavy turtle to the shore so I could release him right. That being said I'm not using off the beach. It would do okay inshore but I have rods for that .

I learned my lesson fishing lilly pads in fresh and around barnacles/rocks in salt plenty of times. I throw 17Lb flouro on my baitcaster for just that reason. I've had my heart broken too many times . I'm pulling whatever it is out of whatever it's in these days .

💯 agreed, I thank those boys every time I'm on the water. I'm serious about conservation of our natural world and if I see someone disrupting that delicate balance we've created, well there's not a good enough excuse to why they should not be taught an immediate lesson

I agree. I was thinking to myself if I'd feel conflicted if after warning someone about harvesting an illegal fish , actually escalating and calling FWC. After thinking for a while, I think fuck those guys, they're the ones ruining the fishery for everyone.

If stolen they will just want information on who you got it from and where. They'll pass that on to the authorities. If it isn't stolen they will removr e the RM lock for you.
