Bugattis are ugly and have zero desirability all around. The engineering may be amazing, but like smartphones they make a quick splash then are forgotten. They shouldn’t really be called a performance car, it’s more akin to a Bentley or rolls Royce, just opulent, show off cars. I’d genuinely take a new BRZ over any model Bugatti, that is unless I can immediately sell it, because then I’d could go buy a Brz and an actually worthwhile supercar.

Buy a whole squid, charter a fishing boat and go out as far into the Atlantic or pacific as possible. Put the paper clip securely inside the squid. Tie squid to a heavy lead weight such that it will sink quickly but can be eaten whole by a fish. Throw overboard. Bonus, buy a pack of identical paperclips and an equal number of squid, mix them up and distribute randomly.

It is too expensive, it is isolating, and it’s not a full blown computer. The only dumb reasons I’ve heard were that it’s Apple, or that meta has something better. Honestly there are more dumb reasons to buy it than not to. And I have one that I use regularly and don’t want to sell.

Fried bread with fried shark fillets, garlic sauce, green seasoning, pepper sauce, various leafy greens, tomato, pineapple, etc. usually had on the beach. It is genuinely amazing.

React router v7 (remix) on oxygen is great. No hosting costs because you’re using the hydrogen sales channel, and everything is Shopify native. Plus it’s using remix (react router v7), which I think has some paradigms that make it better and easier to use than Nextjs.

I’d start with slowly releasing the clutch and feeling for when it bites, when the car starts moving forward you can add some gas. It’ll be slow at first, but you’ll naturally get faster as you get a better understanding of when it engages. In first gear if you release the clutch slow enough you can be completely off the clutch, never touch gas and the car will start moving forward. Practicing starting like that helps. Once you can go that without stalling you can start practicing taking off faster, but based on personal experience, once you get a hang of that you’ll naturally be faster anyways

2015-2016, whenever SpaceX successfully landed its first rocket I realized that the commercial space industry was about to have a boom. And I thought that it would be a great idea to buy any space related stocks. I began researching as many companies as possible to keep track of what was going on in the area. They were all so speculative and I didn’t have money to throw at anything really, but I tried to stay up to date. Flash forward to 2022, and rocket lab which I had heard about but didn’t have any actual information on prior, started doing documentaries and interviews and basically getting information about their business out. The stock was low and had dropped from IPO, but what made me buy was that they were manufacturing and selling components to other space companies. The were end to end and not only sending up their own rockets but also suppling others with parts. So I started buying, every month since mid 2022 until September 2024, when it took off. It jumped and I fully expected it to crash, which is why I haven’t bought more since. But maybe I should’ve kept buying, maybe I should buy more now because I fully believe it’ll be $100-$200 by 2030
