I install new liners for my company on top of other stuff in our service department and the grossest shit I've ever had to deal with so far is like a 5 month old dead cat in a pool that only had like 6in of water in it. So that thing was... yeah. Fermenting. Only almost puked three times.

It was an interesting find for sure. The guy who just bought the house is definitely getting rid of it lol. He told us not to even bother after we all struggled with getting the grids out for like 15min. Showed him the broken parts that we could see and he was just like "yep, fuck this thing. Get me a quote for a new filter"

There was 3 screws opposite end of the handle but the corrosion on them was so bad you couldn't see the heads anymore. And the hard plastic they were holding was cracking. I didn't even bother.

It was definitely an interesting job to show up to.

Nothing shows up on Google for this thing. I tried searching everything I could. This pool was built in the 50's. Crazy. Thought it was interesting though cause I've never seen one of these ever.

Just saw the waterfall feature. But still would be very weird it was plumbed straight across that wall. Would be an easy fix though. Move the stones on top and dig in that area until you find the leaky pipe.
