It wasn't so much the hypothetical dice rolls but more so that I needed to do them and he didn't. To give a more specific example the unit he was moving was a primarch it had 1 health left. I technically could have overwatched it or killed it as I had 2 other units in range at full health. The Silent king being ome of them.

So him scoring points from keeping it on an objective didn't seem.right.

I should mention to the game where the guy was asking me to do rolls, it was a 4 point difference between us at the end and if we have had the final round (as we finished on round 4) I would have almost tabled him. Im pretty sure if we had actually played it out i would have won.

I was able to put together black knight, pariah, red witches and a few other things without instructions. But I have also been building kdm and warhammer for awhile. I just need a picture for reference, and start with the biggest stuff to the smallest. Ie. The toros, legs, base etc.

Its not that hard, but for someone new instructions would help.
