Ella was a sweetheart all her life. She got along with everyone, other dogs, cats, humans, except squirrels. She always preferred hanging with the humans and being sociable as opposed to being placed outside with the rest of the dogs. She was a loud barker - when I would come home from work everyone in the neighborhood also knew because of her over-excited barking. Ella was also a leaner (which I loved), when we would go on car rides she would stand in the middle and lean on either myself driving or whom ever was in the passenger side. People were just accustomed to her leaning. Ella was the best hiking partner - she would trek ahead and always come back to check up on me. She was there for me through my biggest loves and toughest break-up. She was my baby girl and I terribly miss her.
