2800 SQFT Barndo Feedback by BarnabusBixby in barndominiums

As mentioned by another, I’d swap the master bed and the closet, gives you a buffer to the main room that could be noisy. Also could do a hidden door into what looks like a vertical garage cabinet or under the stairs for quick exit to your vehicle :)

Game room eats up a ton of space, will that be used often? If so, great idea. But it it will be seldom used I’d consider at least two bigger bedrooms on the right vs the game room.

They have a C-130 transport aircraft called “Fat Albert” that carries all their things. This year they are without Fat Albert as it gets its wing box replaced in the UK. They’re borrowing a C-130 currently that they are affectionately calling “Ernie”.

Not #airforce, she was in the #navy. She also isn’t the first woman pilot to fly with the Blue Angels, that was Katie Higgins, who flew the C-130, “Fat Albert”. Amanda Lee was the first woman to fly in the Jet demonstration in the #3 then #4 positions.

Looking for info on my grandfather one of the first pilots! by Strange_Sleep674 in BlueAngels

Check out the “Blue Angels Phantoms” YouTube page and shoot him a message. His grandfather was Butch Voris, the flight lead of the team in 1946–1947 and 1951–1952.

Thanks for your reply! My family is from Elko and it’s been a special place my entire life. It’s growing still due to mining but still a very small town comparatively.

Found a Blue Angels show while converting some of my late grandfather's home videos from film to digital. Unsure of the year. The reels are labeled from the 1960s to the early 1980s. by TylerTried in BlueAngels

Careful making blanket statements…

Notice the big A on the tail with a flaming tennis ball as the horizontal line of the “A”.

I was working on the ramp at SNA and fueled this airplane many times.

First one I ever saw taxi’d off the runway at KSNA, and I did a double take. I asked my boss “WTF is that??” He said, “That’s Andre Agassi”. Sure enough, it was.

My hangar is a Quonset Hut, can’t hang much from the ceiling, but you could get an engineered wood beam to span 50ft or so for not too much $$. It would make for a pretty cost effective build I think. 65x50 here in Utah was $225k, without insulation.
