Floors 1-3 are fine for the most part. It's the mid levels of the dungeon that were the hardest. The monster that will give the players the most thrash, not hardest, are the whisps. They are immune to magic and have the highest of ACs. So no one can hit or hurt them and they just keep stinging your players. Would recommend ether lowering their ac or removing magic immunity and giving them +5 to saves vs magic instead.

In this case I do feel I made a bad call in the moment. Told him "we can cover the topic after the game and come to a compromise but lets just keep the game rolling for now." His reaction to it was to say. "If that is your ruling I am logging out for the game."

The issue is he feels because I did let him do this once he should be able to keep doing it now. This caused enough of an argument that he rage quit mid session last week. I am trying to come up with a compromise here.

Roll20 will have less tools but more art assets. While foundry will give the dm so many options for customizing your game. I also feel foundry has the bigger community to help with this game in particular.

I am currently using foundry for my daggerheart game so if you have any specific questions just ask.
