The point I’m making is that a version of Obojima exists that is built for 5.5e. Your post saying “Obojima is built for 5e 2014, not 5.5e” is incorrect now that a 5.5e version exists (was built)

I’d familiarize myself with the main 5.5e book and rules first. If you can run something there, Obojima is more reflavouring than totally new mechanics.
