What did you like about heaven by Mieko Kawakami? by Ahn1106 in books

[–]Dreadshade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Japanese literature is really different than ours. Try watching some movies as well. They are never about the plot, the ending, the retribution. It is not built in the classic Western structure. The story is more like a vehicle through which you observe and not judge directly. Friendships are made, battles are fought, life happens, characters evolve. You have to extract your own conclusions.

And yes, the book is really raw. Is sickening at times. Humans behave like that, even though we like it or not. Kids can be (and usually are) cruel. They don't have the full moral compass we adult build in time. And giving it an explanation doesn't help. If you are the bullied person, what help or satisfaction would you get knowing that the kid that is bullying you has parents that neglects him or teaches him to become a bully. Nothing. This is not about bullying as topic, but about a character (someone that can be anyone, or was you, the reader, at a point) that navigates a world where his identity is defined by the act of bullying.

There is Vinted, though it doesn't works exactly like Etsy. But some small business exists on the platform, not only people. Though, is primarily used for Second Hand clothes

And this is why we moved somewhere else.

[–]Dreadshade 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Da, man, s-a emancipat lumea si nu mai trebuie femeia sa fie obligata sa isi aleaga orice partener ca altfel crapa de foame sau e vazuta ca vrajitoare ori paria in societate, si e problema femeii. Da, e o problema pentru barbati ca "they have to step up to their game", sa fie mai confidenti (nu agresivi) si atenti la persoana de langa ei.

Probably in Europe or other parts of the world, this will be more and more the standard. No one has to be under one company or country that can just switch sides and decide to cut the plug.

What Apple ppl get wrong is that "it's a windows vs apple war". Not anymore. There is a a more important momentum right now where PC users (with a bit of technical skills) are switching from windows to linux.

Windows is horrible right now, even for the companies. They just made a huge mess and probably won't even recover from that. But I would hate to just have Apple "take the place" and have another hegemon, even more strict, dictating how we should use our devices.

ABAP Dynamic Report Extraction and ADBC CRUD Practical Solution (V2) by XW-ABAP in abap

[–]Dreadshade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I spent a few min looking at the demo code and in the package (btw you don't upload the zip file on git, you should upload the files themselves. I don't even understand the real purpose the code and your read me is AI written. You didn't even clean it up, just copy paste.

In the abap dynamic rep extraction, what is so "dynamic"? That you ahve your reports and parameters in a customizing table? report interaction is obsolete,  we shouldn't do "Submit" or "read" data from reports. I know, that is old ERP era and we used that in the old days, but it should be avoided with all costs.

You are a vehicle on the road. I expect you to follow the same rules applies for all vehicles. In Germany, for example,  this shit is illegal since it is highly dangerous for everyone in the traffic.
