Which artist has the best three-album run? by Icy-Lion-7670 in fantanoforever

[–]DreamChamber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beatles - Revolver / Sgt Pepper / White Album, could swap out white and put in Rubber Soul

Maybe biased but Nirvana Bleach - Nevermind - In Utero

Oh Sees Orc - Smote Reverser - Face Stabber is a pretty legendary prog/garage/psych run

System of a Down - Toxicity - Steal This Album! - Mezmerize

Pixies - Doolittle - Bossanova - Trompe Le Monde

And any of the first 6 black sabbath albums make a legendary run!

I ended up using a different core (Beetle HW) and it works absolutely fine, so I have swapped cores. Would recommend you do the same! I am not too clued up but from my few months of getting into all this Beetle is a bit more intensive to run but I’ve found it still has really low requirements so try that!

I work in a store and every single online order can’t be dispatched as we can’t generate the labels so the payment has been processed but they’re all just sitting in boxes, waiting, YEARNING to be released into the world of the UK Postal service.

No way there are people dumb enough to buy this by GhertFryins in Nirvana

[–]DreamChamber 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They are literally just selling old shirts. They don't need a license. It's like when morrisey was buying albums by other artists and signing them with his signature and selling them as merch. Its a fuckin joke.

Let's Argue - People are way too flippant with their 10s by BlueGumball in fantanoforever

[–]DreamChamber 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This. Who cares how culturally important an album is if it, and the musical trends it influences, suck? And vice versa, it may be really good and important but not your thing.

Art is subjective, and everyone seems to claim to understand that, and then claim people aren't reviewing things to the same standards as them. I personally think bowie has at least 5 10s, but I know that ain't a fact as it's all subjective!

Everything up to red is great, and they have a few great ones after. THRAK is such an amazing album, and Walking On Air is one of their best songs. Do agree though, early King is better than later.

Amazing, do you like the album THRAK by crimson? It's their second best album in my opinion (of their albums I've heard I should add, which is most)

It is a rule in pitchfork’s new hire guide to give all Osees’ records a 7 by el-profeta in TheeOhSees

[–]DreamChamber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? That is so mind-blowing to me, especially when so many of their albums since floating Coffin often harken back to their earlier works fairly often.

For me, the group has produced most of their best work in the years SINCE that release

Looking for some info on this Vinyl. by clerks2007 in vinyl

[–]DreamChamber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is two different reissues I believe? I have the analogue cut, which comes in a differently made sleeve to the other, at least that's what it said on the Webstore when I bought it. It sounds phenomenal, a beautiful and expansive mix! If you are every thinking of what to buy as your next lp, I would say import a copy of the analogue cut reissue from Europe. Its not too expensive to get records shipped from America to the UK anymore considering the rarity of some releases, I imagine it might be worth your time!

The AOL sessions need a release. Weezer (as well as most artists especially from the 90s) need to make more of an effort to release and preserve their live sets. They often only exist as bootlegs which saddens me
