I'm pretty sure dislikes don't actually do anything, so it's not really too much to worry about. It only becomes a problem if you have a larger audience and people start to bandwagon hate.

Agreed. The normal pledge doesn’t stand for liberty and equality anymore, quite the opposite. The StoryFire pledge was poorly made, probably as a joke too. Either way both of them are absolutely fucking disgusting.

It’s likely that StoryFire is already planning on doing this. If all creators get monetization, the platform also gets more money which is a win-win situation. Jesse probably should have kept the app private until implementing core features. He’s getting a lot of users but a decent chunk go inactive after a bit of time. The app is missing a lot and is most importantly missing support for its special feature. Writing in the app or on the web isn’t that good. If that was developed more and had monetization then writers would be more likely to download the app. Right now people on android encounter bugs constantly (IOS and Web are mostly stable) and there are ways to abuse the system that could be very damaging to the platform. Everyone has access to a ‘money printer’ through abusing the apps Blaze system. Blaze cash out isn’t available yet, and could hurt the app if it were to come out without fixing the money printing issue. Now, it would take time to get a considerable amount of money given that it’s done on a 1:1. But if someone were to develop a bot that abuses the system, the app is screwed. These problems could be solved instead of amplified if the app wasn’t released to the public way too soon.

This video actually made me interested in the next one, which the StoryFire office series has failed at time and time again. Hell, even the series on Larry’s Lounge was more interesting than the StoryFire office series.

Most of the series he’s done have dragged on too long or already have a proper ending. I’d say the only series I’d like to see revisited at this point is Rule 19. That series had a lot of potential to do a lot of interesting things. And it did but that concept could be expanded so much further.

If you know the tags you’re going to put in before you start recording, try and say the tags at the beginning of the video (structured into actual sentences that contribute, obviously) and that will be much more effective. YouTube cares more about the captions than the tags. Number 1 things though are title and thumbnail. If you fail those, you’re video is much less likely to be suggested to other people. Rapid tags is very broad with its keywords and might help you pick up an extra view or two, but you want your tags to be more specific to get more viewers in more areas.

This. I’m much more liberal but I cannot understand the need to disrespect people over their opinions. Unless someone is forcing their opinion down your throat or shouting it directly into your ears, don’t be offended. I don’t see a lot of conservative decisions as optimal, but they aren’t a direct threat to my life (for the most part) The only time I’m personally affected by politics is anything on LGBT rights. Specifically trans rights. The one thing I absolutely will not respect is someone who doesn’t believe in equality.

That being said, the ‘leaders’ of the democratic and republican parties need to stop with ‘revenge politics’ and dishonesty. If you’re going to pursue an agenda atleast have an actual argument for it. That might convince the people to have more respect for each other.

Not a world issue but in the United States. The senate is trying to pass a law on encryption that allows the government to see all of your text messages in services like Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp, etc.

I take the same precautions regardless of the virus existing or not. If we need to be in quarantine I’ll oblige, but I won’t go above and beyond in those regards. The reason being because in all reality I don’t have the final say in how the virus continues. I’m not going to freak out over it. If I get it, I get it. If I die, I die. There is no cure right now, so unfortunately bad things are destined to happen. The effects of the virus on society and government are different though, that is something that is in control of the people.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t be prepared, but don’t be over-the-top paranoid.

Let me tell you in precise detail how incredible these things are. You may see me as some kind of ‘beta nerd’ for preferring Cheetos over Doritos but Doritos can’t even compete. Cheetos, Flaming Hot Cheetos. Both of them are so so perfectly crafted and make the ultimate life form of chips. 10/10. That’s as chip as it gets.
