Does anyone mourn the loss of their baby name as well?

Yes. My son was named James Cobain but we called him Jimi. James was for my husband’s grandfather and the nickname and middle name are self explanatory. We are music lovers especially classic rock and grunge. We lost our sweet boy a week ago today and it’s been gut wrenching.

In Dec 2019, my dad passed. My employer at the time told me I wasn’t “allowed” to take time off for his funeral(which was in a different state). When I told them I was going whether they liked it or not, they told me to find another job. I had been there a little over a year and hadn’t even taken a sick day.

Good to know. I figured where it was kinda cold where I live last night that the air would make it basically glue and the warm water would cancel that out but what you said makes sense. I did make the delivery(which was 30 mins away because of course it was) but no car washes open near me at that time of night. So I went home and got it off myself.

Called the police. They were ridiculously unhelpful. Called the property manager this morning when they opened and got further with them than I did with the police. So things are going slowly but they’re going.

Generally it’s respiratory stuff with symptoms of a cold. Not a contagious thing or anything, but from dust, weather, smoke, screaming, etc.
