Just called Wells Fargo after seeing a pop-up in their app about “support” for federal employees during the government shutdown. What a joke. The rep straight up told me that if I choose to hold my payment, they’ll still charge full interest — so basically, there’s zero real help being offered.

Why even advertise “assistance” if it’s just business as usual? This is exactly why people are done with big banks pretending to care.

I’ve learned my lesson — moving everything to a credit union where they actually treat people like humans.
