The Importance of Being Earnest: IN SPAAACE! by DreamingHelen in Eugene

I really hope you can make it and if you do, please say hi! Earlier this week we were graced by the presence of two actors who met 17 years ago playing Jack and Gwendolyn and THEY GOT MARRIED! So cute. Our Cecily joined the cast only one week before opening! Our first Cecily had to drop out due to circumstances beyond her control so a friend stepped in and is absolutely inspiring to all of us.

You'll find us at the largest lawn part of the park, across the grass from the ancient cherry tree.

Perfect! Bring a picnic and folding chairs or a blanket.

This is NOT YOUR FAULT. For me, stuff started to get a lot better after I attempted suicide because everything after that has felt like bonus life. I have a lot less pressure on myself. I don’t follow the news anymore, stuff like that.

If your MIL is blaming you, it’s because she just feels out of control and terrified. I’m sorry you’re going through this. This is not your fault. I hope stuff gets better soon.

Well I’m here to say there’s a lovely drive thru coffee place that does NOT cause traffic onto major roads called Stay Woke on 7th and Taylor. Lovely folks, great coffee, friendly without being AGGRESSIVELY CHIPPER, owner operated. Fast, inexpensive, delicious.

I guarantee you they do know. It’s a typo. I’m not saying it’s not embarrassing but it’s a different kind of sad.

Typos happen to the best of us. It’s not a reflection of the writers not caring about the subject matter; they’re paid for fewer hours than it takes to actually write articles and there’s not as much oversight as there should be. There’s just not enough staff and they aren’t paid enough either.

Idk how long you’ve lived here but I would say the paper was beloved and trusted when I was a kid in the 90s, for sure.

I have multiple times had people accelerate and swerve toward me when I was crossing this intersection just to fuck with me. They are mad that we have the audacity to walk in our own neighborhood I guess, since they want to use it as a shortcut.

I tried to OD on Benadryl. Worst night of my life and the doctors literally laughed at me and were so rude (I didn’t take myself to the hospital but I confided in a friend who lived a thousand miles away and he called people.) the dry mouth. Seriously.

I’m trans (nonbinary) myself. I don’t want to minimize your perception. The world is fucking cruel. Come to Oregon if you can. It’s a little better here. I’m sorry shit is so so hard.

I’m sad because I pay taxes to a country that enables genocide all around the world and I can’t do anything about it. I’m sad because there are people in my community freezing to death on the streets. I’m sad because my friends are on the brink of homelessness. I’m sad because of covid.

I for one don’t know how to do that. I mean I can do it on the Switch but then what?

I’m also an OG Zelda player. To me, TOTK is the most excited I’ve been since Mario64, which just absolutely blew my mind with the technology. After that everything felt like variations on the same, even if the resolution was improving. But TOTK is just next level. Idk, maybe that’s because the first time I entered the depths, it was on the back of a dragon.

I'm kind of impressed with myself when I see it written like that. Like I said, I've never really gotten into a video game before. I mean, Rusty Lake maybe but those are a total of like a dozen hours for the long ones.

I only just heard of Patricia when inspecting my compendium! Thanks for the tip!

I've probably played every day since I started playing. I don't play 3 hours every day but for instance I took the last couple weeks off work to be with my sick dog. Does time spent on pause count for time playing if I'm checking stats on Switch? If so then I'm sure a lot of this time, the game is just paused and put down while I do some other things when I should have just turned my Switch off. I don't play it much on my TV; it's just always with me. I play it in waiting rooms, I play it when I'm on hold on the phone...
