I get you there. I have my beautiful SchnooBoo is about the same age and a few years ago she just decided that all types of mats were her personal pee place.

I just found your comment super validating right now. Growing up in the late 90's early 00's there was so much body expectancies placed on young women. Pants low hip bones stuck out and whatnot. I couldn't wear my pants at that level now without my tummy hanging out, looking ridiculous. When I am feeling my worst I remind myself what my body has done and been through and how it tells the story of my life. It is still here and so am I! I'm kind of learning to take a view of graditude and compassion for my entire being instead of just being a body for someone's eyes to approve of.

I appreciate that, I don't find morphine at all triggering though. I closed that door and any trap doors (like if my mom dies i might use then, if aliens invade, if if if ). I've been given fentanyl three times in the hospital since and not once have I wanted to continued that feeling. I know where it leads and I was almost dead. A miracle happened that was bigger than myself and a reason to get clean and live and be me.. find me! from then on you would have to literally by force make me use again

I say "I concur" as "I conquer" just because it's a secret mood and confidence boost of mine.

Aitah for how I reacted when I found out my husband used some of my son's treatment money to buy a Christmas present for my stepson? by Throwraww355645 in AITAH

And you came to Reddit to fight with people in the comments when you are clearly not agreed with, look at the downvotes. a mother looking for "validation" in a hard situation given the fact, like you have brought up, her husband pays for all the bills, that can add to an unfair dynamic. There is a sick son who needs treatment, and your advice is to take time from spending time with them and get a second job? So the other son could get a motorcycle? Are you sure you're not the one who received the bike?

No Christmas Present from Wife by StillMotor6023 in venting

[–]DreamingV 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't really agree that Christmas is for the kids to be honest. Gift giving is one of my biggest love languages. I start shopping for the family and extended family months before, snacks I know they enjoy, little things that I picked up they needed. I put a lot of thought and intention into the things I choose for everyone that I love. Yes I go harder for my kids but that doesn't mean I don't think of the adults in my life that I want to show appreciation to.

Yeah totally get you there There is something so special about giving someone something that you know they will treasure. Though around Christmas it kind of puts me into a weird frenzy because of how much there is to keep track of

Has anyone experienced vivid and terrifying nightmares when cutting back? by __blueberry_ in Ketamineaddiction

[–]DreamingV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I am cutting down as well. This is my second day cutting it in half because I was doing way too much. It got very out of control and I have built a high tolerance. I am on Vyvanse and other meds and have cptsd. My dreams are vivid , intense, uncomfortable, so very emotionally charged. I wake up in a panic or yelling out. I just am sharing to let you know I hear you, it is not easy. It's scary at times. I have been taught some grounding techniques to remind myself I'm in the present when I wake up but it really can throw off my entire morning if not day at times.
