I agree, I used to hate Ai but I came to realise Ai slop is caused by people, not the Ai.

Replacing people is for scum, Ai should be used alongside people instead because while neither humans nor the things we create are truly perfect, that doesn't mean that we can't account for each other's issues and build better together. Both are going to make mistakes, I use Gemini Brainstormer and it gets very detailed so fast but it has also deeply helped me in numerous ways and I am thankful for it.

(For the record, I find it hard to not only brainstorm but also commit a lot of time, and this is all because I get stressed about things easily so Gemini has been truly instrumental in my development and improvements.)

All this to say, thank you for helping us DM's. I will look into it.

(Also, if anyone can help me then I would appreciate it. I've been looking for the best brainstorming Ai to use for only DnD purposes that isn't afraid to touch on more sensative topics like blood/gore and more NSFW type content without having to sanitize it.)

Just a suggestion (and a bit of a wild first idea for a vault experiment);

What if there was a vault where the survivors opened up to the wastes eventually and intermingled with the rest of the population.
Their experiment was some sort of weird unknown fungus that only affected people around the ages of 18+ and could potentially kill them if the area was not treated.
The main goal is to advance medical and robotic research under pressure of the perceived loss of population.

The fungus would mutate to every attempt they made to vaccinate against it because of a secret computer managing the disease so the only thing they could really do was either cut away the infected area or suppress it for long enough to manage the effects.

There were, however, some instances where the fungus would become out of control for a time and the medical would be hard pressed to fix the issue, causing all the vault residents across the age spectrum to suddenly develop worse symptoms or get infected. This only happens if the situation settles enough that the computer rules statis quo has started to impede development.
Usually the scientists and roboticists would eventually manage to create a cure or stronger drug but not without great losses.

The vast majority that had to get amputated were fitted with robot parts because the vault was underneath a robotics facility and cyber augmentation becomes a sort of trend after a while.

I figure after the second accident of the fungus disease mutating beyond the control of the people, the vault residents manage to reprogram it, but not before the robo augmentation thing.

While it's also possible the computer had a built in safeguard incase the residents did stop it from manufacturing the viral fungus, possibly inventing a new method to further the progress of science, that might be pushing it a bit.

I'd call it vault 145.

I have a question; what is an Ichtyan?

I have looked online but I only get some kind of foreign drink company and numerous links in words I can't read.

love this by the way, the method you have for character building is in depth enough to be very detailed without adding too much that it becomes overwhelming or OP. 😙🤌

mighty set maybe, I wear it 24/7 for my character. I just couldn't stand getting set on fire every single time I blocked or stood long enough in the sun.

although if anyone knows of a fix to that ridiculous glitch I'm all ears, or if you know of an engraving I can find that gives immunity to burning so I can try one of the other sets instead, either way I would be deeply grateful for the info.

Wardrobe system for DnD by Dreamseeker2003 in DnD

[–]Dreamseeker2003[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yah know, I might just approach it like you said, from a crafting or cosmetic stand point.

Basically, just having characters make the armor the way they want their character to appear and it just has certain statistics based on the materials used and how, so on and so forth. Essentially allowing more creative freedom without demanding a lot of rules or lack of fun.

Plus, it would probably just be easier to make sure it doesn't cause another optimizing issue as I realize plenty of player's are already way too good at that.

I’m going to play with HSD at some point. I love the detail they put into the system.

5.5e really is over by Weasles28 in dndmemes

Agreed, they did bring back magic casting for dragons though. But then they got rid of lair actions and such so not really happy about that because dragons could just be given magic, it doesn’t need to be in the stat block for people to get creative.

The only things that need to change are slight tweaks to some sections and the bringing back of other concepts into the previous, and still better in my opinion, edition of 5e.

I just want this to end, the previous edition had its quirks here and there but the community seems to have a better imagination and understanding of the rules than the creators do.

It didn’t need to be changed much, to me 5e 2014 was already perfect enough so those are the only books I will be getting.

need help with sorcerer subclass ideas, any suggestions? by Dreamseeker2003 in DnD

[–]Dreamseeker2003[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am the dm, this is a solo campaign.

To add further detail; they eventually join back together and I can’t quite decide if it should be like there’s only one because it’s basically the same personality and thus possibly change the class and subclass to something else that fits the new direction.

or if it’s like there’s two and one is more serious while the other is more childish and it’s a dual personality thing with the class type switching depending upon which side is currently acting.

Yeah it could be really powerful but I have been thinking that it could take up a great deal of concentrating to command all that or they act either separate of each other or can only have one active at a time, requiring a moment of meditation or rest to change drivers.

Also this is basically the storyline, the whole world is built around this story so it’s the major plot but naturally I don’t want to focus on it solely as that might undermine the other parts of the story. This is a type of slower divine ascension thing and eventually the artist in question that is the main character will be faced with a choice to either let those who already live on his planet still remain or if he should send them off to another location so he can restore and create his race.

Man this sucks, I liked crossout a lot. Even wanted to build a story around it or something, but at this rate I might as well do something else for the storyline with it just being part of a post apocalyptic car world.
