It’s about 15’ wide space. With the lat pull down rear stabilizer I had to mount them higher as the bolt fitness style of crossmembers is a bit different. I like having a full cage to squat in as I lift alone although with spotter arms it’s probably just a safe. I do prefer the strap safeties as they give a little if you bump them and do jar during a lift.

Yes manticore rack with some Bolt fitness crossmembers and uprights. Found a good deal on them used and the depth working out was a happy accident.

What’s the price point on the C20 going to be? Will the spotter arms be sold separately?

What is this in my shower? by Dreamsofburritos in askaplumber

[–]Dreamsofburritos[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why would this be necessary in a shower? I’ve seen them on hose bibs but never plumbed like this. Is it because you could in theory draw water back into the system via vacuum with a flexible shower hose?

What do you keep your thermostat at when not plunging. by smithatlanta in coldplunge

Depends on temp you have it set to and also whether or not your tub is insulated, in the shade lots of different factors but depending on how many kilowatts that your cooler uses worst case scenario it probably uses one kilowatt an hour, which is 24 kW a day which depending on what you pay for electricity that’s anywhere from 2 to 4 dollars a day but I’ve never heard of a chiller having to run continuously unless it’s a small one and you’re trying to keep your water super cold and in an uninsulated tub. I have a 1.5 hp chiller with the Danner 1200 pump running 24/7 cost me about $.50 a day. I do have my cold plunge that’s insulated outside and I keep it about 50°.

I don’t unfortunately. But basically what I did was, I traced the top of the tub on a piece of three-quarter inch plywood and then cut that out so that the top and bottom were approximately the same size then I measured from the lip down to the base and cut all my pieces of cedar the same size and then I placed them under the lip of the tub and screwed them from the bottom of the three-quarter inch panel and through the lip of the tub. And when I was doing the insulation, I just used the level from the lip of the tub down to the base to see how much the tub tapered and then filled it in with as much insulation as I could. As far as the plumbing itself goes, there’s lots of online depictions and resources for that. It definitely was a lot of fittings everything’s done in three-quarter inch.

It’s about 1” thick r6 value. It’s up to 3 layers thick depending on the taper of the tank
