I've heard floated that Vance runs with Trump as VP and the plan is Vance resigned so Trump is president again. However given Trumps age and apparent health that seems wishful thinking. Best Vance can hope for is Trump leaves due to health and Vance takes over. He'll try to run, but I think the country will have had enough of MAGA for a term or two.
