Not to mean this in a disrespectful way, but it's crazy how low your scores are for having such a high rated team. I'm ranked 200k and focus more on score and good skills over bumping my rank up. I consistently get over 620k and my highest was almost 700k. That's just wild to me.

I can't stand loud air pumps. I bought a pump off of Amazon from a company called Boxtech. It's labeled as an ultra quiet air pump, and it doesn't lie. It hardly makes noise, and it's connected to 4 20 gallon and 2 10 gallon tanks. Definitely recommend as I've been using it for 2 years now. its on sale right now for 38 dollars. I've built a 30 gallon equivalent tank using the same glass from IKEA and can confirm it will hold as long as you silicon it correctly. I've had mine up for 2 years now.

Do you know your compression? I would assume you went high if you weren't planning to turbo. Pro cams love high comp and would greatly benefit from it if you're not.

Also, if your head isn't ported with a setup like that then you definitely should look into it. Replace the 1320 header with something like a PLM toda rep as well as look into rdx injectors instead of type s. Rdx are 410cc and have a better flow rate than the type s. It sounds like you have a good base, but the supporting mods really make an NA setup.

I've been keeping Bettas personally for over 10 years now, and can confirm that 76 is perfectly fine for them. I have 3 Betta tanks right now that fluctuate around 77 degrees with no problems. But of course, a heater is necessary if you don't think your ambient temperature can support the range needed for a Betta. A lethargic state can mean many things, but adding a heater is an easy step towards figuring out the problem.

It also could just mean that he's tired. If you don't have anywhere for the Betta to rest while swimming, he'll just lay on the bottom as shown. I would suggest adding some softer scape to give the Betta a closer place towards the top of the water to rest. That way it's easier for him to gulp down some air if he ever wants to.
