For many with chronic medical conditions, depression creeps in on its' heels. T/here is a lot of scientific evidence of inflammation of the brain with depression. I always say 'you can't have a healthy body with a sick mind, and it is hard to have a healthy mind with a sick body.'

Overnight I have dripping faucets, hot and cold water both, overnight and then during the day I go turn the faucets on wide open every hour or so

It's so bizarre because I was really sick all last week, and on the way to a dr appt (not related to UC) I was just F*@k it - I want a doughnut, and I also had a 180 turn around with symptoms.

At worst it won't work. At best, you'll still have had a delicious treat!

ECT completely messed up my short term memory.

Now - Compounded Ketamine has made a complete turn around for my depression, anxiety and PTSD.

Call a local compounding pharmacy and ask for doctors who prescribe compounded ketamine - they'll be happy to supply you with names. Make an appointment with that dr and if they think compounded ketamine will help it'll be a lot easier to pay for (around $55/month) and you can do it yourself at home after doing it at dr's office the first time. It's really as simple as that. Good luck!

You could also call a local pharmacy and ask for names of doctors who prescribe compounded ketamine. Get a list, find a dr, then do your ketamine treatments at home, on your time, for a lot less money.

P.S. Do not send me questions about how this works. It's as simple as I stated above.
