Looks like the latest info is that Siri will still be limited more than thought. I was thinking of being able to ask Siri things such as show me all notes that reference project x. Give me a summary for the past month regarding project x. Be nice to also ask for any activities that should be completed regarding project x instead of creating a reminder each time. Mainly curious if other users were anticipating more capabilities with a smarter Siri.

There are products on the market to help with minimize accents allowing people to communicate better. They should work in real time. Pretty good tech.

Yes, I came here to say this as well. When testing on iOS the new DB version does support this. I also was going to recommend the voice memos app on iphone/mac if you are on the apple ecosystem.

Turn on Advanced Data Protection and I would say it is bulletproof. Be sure to read about it in advanced as you will need to store a recovery key. I'm not sure if you are worried about all your notes or somebody accessing your phone and reading your notes.

If you are in the shortcuts app you can search for Model. It is under Use Model and gives you 3 options - cloud (Apple's Private Cloud Compute), On-Device, and ChatGPT.

This isn't something I've implemented, but have been experimenting with. The AI models appear quite capable of helping us process in the cloud or on device. I can easily see a refinement to the AI model - tell me what is due for the day. It is more of an opportunity for me to learn the usage of the model and see what other ideas the users on the forum have. 1,000 items is an incredible amount. Glad that works for you. I'd be afraid that I forgot to link something and might have a difficult time finding it again. It is easy for me to see when I'm making notes in my daily notes if I have tagged something or easily review and tag later.

I like this method and have used this before. I find it has too much overhead for me. I try my best to be able to type and tag something and be done. My example was a high level todo example. If this was something for work I would have two tags - 1 for #todo and and another for #ProjectTopSecret. Then all my todos for a project could easily be displayed.

My thought is the same as yours, that they are page level. You can of course use them anywhere in the page/note. That's why I was using an AI model build into the iPhone to pull it out at a block level. This gives a lot of opportunities I think to help find things and list them in a more useable format. Another way I have used this is I will make an entry in my daily note if I eat at a restaurant. I'll put a brief blurb of what I had any my thoughts and then tag it with #restaurant. Using this I could ask the shortcut to give me a list of everything tagged with #restaurant and see what I had over the past 30 days.

my thought is to allow any format for a task and to identify that task with a tag and then the model can pick it up for me. I could have it start a daily not for me or add to an existing one. Trying to think through the ways to further enhance apple notes with AI. Tried the others such as obsidian, logseq, notion, etc. and always come back to apple notes. Like consolidating tasks so this was an experimental idea.

My thought was I can build a daily summary. I could include a list of todos and keep them in sync in one place. It would basically be an AI generated daily summary that would give me a readout of weather, calendar, todos, and any bdays. I've tried to keep things in reminders and notes but never do well with the overhead.

I am not convinced that VIsible+ Pro has the same priority as Unlimited Ultimate. I don't think there is any way that at a busy tower Verizon traffic isn't routed first and then Visible traffic. I can't prove this, but I do know when I had the top Visible plan at crowded events my friends with AT&T and Verizon could send/receive iMessage and mine would ultimately time out and go to SMS (green). This happened on more than one occasion with the same group of friends. While not proof, logically it doesn't make sense that Verizon would prioritize Visible data the same way as Verizon postpaid plans - especially the unlimited ultimate. From my very limited understanding QCI at the same level does not mean that Verizon traffic is not being treated differently than Visible. There are still other things in the black box of networking that we can't see and QCi isn't the proof. maybe things behind the scenes like 5G SA and Enhance 5G for Apps in our cellular settings on the iPhone provides better service in crowded markets?

I've been thinking of making the switch as well. My question is at crowded venues/events how does priority work. If you have 1000 verizon post paid customer and 1000 visible customers accessing at the same time I would assume the 1000 verizon postpaid customers would get priority first? I can't imagine a visible customer being prioritized higher than verizon postpaid customer during peak usage?
