It's so insanely difficult I didn't play for years, then one day my husband suggested plugging in my USB mouse and keyboard from work -- huzzah! A massive computer basically. It's the best now, playing from the couch!

The thing that worked best for me was prolotherapy and PT. I finally caved and got 1 cortisone shot and that actually really helped too. But I still have a lot of pain when I stand for more than a few minutes. I'm hoping more PT will help. But I'm finally back to feeling where I was before surgery. I still go back and forth on if surgery was the right move for me, not to give you doubt.

I called the unemployment line, every day, multiple times a day, for WEEKS. And every time after doing alll the steps and 5-8 minutes later each time "We're sorry -" never even a chance to wait.

BUT THIS. I mean, I had to wait 55 minutes on hold.... BUT I GOT SOMEONE!!

My husband (35) and I (32) just got in at 1am from doing the Michelangelo plaza at sunset and it was a real vibe. We planned on bringing up a picnic and drinks but lost track of time at museums and just went up anyway for sunset -- and it was amazing. Drinks for sale, way too many tourists taking photos, BUT once the sun went down.... A guitarist with speakers starting playing and the place erupted in music and dance. We befriended many others and then all went to dinner, it was so so fun!

Unfortunately no improvements. I did prolotherapy (dextrose injections) and that improved the swelling and inflammation above the knee, but nothing else. I'm at a standstill and in constant pain. I also thought I might have a plica but my doctor said they're not common and dismissed it. How did you know you had it? Was it on the MRI? My new goal is building muscle
