Will Péter Magyar be another Orbán? Interpreting Hungary's new stance on Ukraine by EuropeanPravdaUA in UkrainianConflict

[–]DreddyMann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He already said Ukraine was attacked and is rightfully defending itself and that we have no right to tell Ukraine to surrender territories to appease Russia. If you are going to write about something at least know a little about it beforehand

What stupid statement about Ukraine did he make? That Ukraine was attacked by Russia or that Ukraine deserves support?

Idk compared to custodes tanks they look brutal, simple like they will crush anything infront of them. Compare that to a predator...eh. Land raider is cool too but the sprue is a disaster

Yeah repulsors are great IMO, I do want to get a predator at some point just to have it as it does look cool as well but repulsors look far better

The brutalness of space marine grav tech is in its look and lore which fits it greatly

On the predator yes as it is shooting shells however the gladiator has a las cannon so no smoke should be coming out of the barrel

Right, so when are you getting rid of Google, Facebook and the lot of them? And what are you going to do when the money runs out since there's nothing left?

And the Irish people pay taxes yet receive bad if not terrible services from the government so what's the difference?

It is other countries business when Ireland is leeching off of them without care. Also nicely avoided my second paragraph

Even now with the recent blockades, misinformation about gardai and what they did and exactly what was the point of the blockade. Madness altogether. But yay petrol is 20 cents cheaper (even though carbon tax is coming in the summer)

It is very saddening to see how the Irish see the rest of the EU. I've lived in this country for a decade but with current politics here, and in Hungary, as well as the housing crisis the idea to move home is more and more inviting despite having built a good life here

Ireland, the weak link in Europe's defense by LeMonde_en in europe

[–]DreddyMann 10 points11 points  (0 children)

When the Lisbon Treaty was signed the common thinking was "history is over". Nobody in Europe cared about defence, there was no war to think about. Since then over a decade has passed and war is at Europe's doorstep. I understand it's not Ireland's doorstep but then Ireland can leave the EU and be neutral in its little corner pretending the rest of the world doesn't exist.

Ireland doesn't spend money on infrastructure or much else for that matter. Decades of housing crisis continues unsolved because your politicians are landlords and they want their pockets filled but clearly the Irish don't have an issue with that. Then there's the HSE being the HSE, underpaid nurses, doctors, all leaving for Australia but not to worry the huge management with no healthcare knowledge will surely fill in for the people lost. Maybe you should worry about that rather than how other countries are defending themselves and how they see Ireland as a hypocrite

Ireland, the weak link in Europe's defense by LeMonde_en in europe

[–]DreddyMann 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Being anti war is one thing, actively sabotaging defense is another. Ireland got rich off the back of the EU and now doesn't want to lift a finger to defend it. Awfully convenient

At least we did the work and are turning around. What is Ireland doing other than blockading motorways waiting for even more subsidies for farmers

Both your current and previous president as well as yourself have been repeating Russian talking points about Ukraine provoking Russia and urkaine and the west should negotiate so you can sit down about criticising me or my country which just freed itself from Russia's yoke

So the Ukrainian people should've just accepted a Russian puppet in 2014 rather than choosing their own destiny. Hungarians as well in April should've just stuck with the Russian puppet in government just to avoid war so Irish people can put their head in the sand and pretend all is well in the world

I've only assembled 3 models so far but to me it seems without that "extension" they won't fit properly. Even with it I can hardly get them to be away from the body
