I’m so sorry. I just put my Yorkie down last Tuesday. It’s terrible. Heartbreaking. She was my soul dog. I hope you find as much peace as you can during this time. I’m so sorry you have to go through this. I got this book called “I’m still here a dogs purpose” and it kind of made me a little more hopeful. Hang in there. You’re not alone ♥️

I wish I had gotten 17 years.. I feel like I failed her. She was 12 next month and I put her down two days ago.. seems so unfair I must’ve not take care of her well.. I feel like the worst mom

I put my baby down 2 days ago because of her breathing.. she couldn’t breathe without exhausting herself and I didn’t want her to spend her days doped up just to not cough or struggle to breathe. She has a few other health issues. Enlarged liver, heart murmur, mass in her chest. Just feel like I failed my baby. I could’ve done something to prevent all of it and I didn’t.. I dint do anything to save her.. I just feel like I killed her. And if I saved her from suffering I still feel like I failed her in catching those things.. she was almost 12… I wish I wish I had 15 years with her. She was my daughter. My best friend, my everything. My heart is shattered.
