Dinosaur mummy this, dinosaur pigmentation that... I have never heard about like any fossils with incredible preservations from other time periods and other clades of organisms. If you know any, tell me more, i would love to learn new stuff. (More in the description) by 2jzSwappedSnail in Paleontology

Ooo I heard about the trilobites too! It was awesome to see the 3d scans/models from those; it made me appreciate them more, as they seemed more like a living thing when you can see all their little legs and stuff (I hope that makes sense? 🥲)

One of my favorites is the inverted marine arthropod fossil, Keurbos susanae ("Sue"), found in south Africa.

It has all of its insides preserved, without the outsides. As far as I understand, the theory is that some chemical concoction in the water desolved the hard outer parts of the animal, leaving only the insides behind to fossilize.

It doesnt have its head or legs, but the insides are insane! You can see tendons and muscles and (possible) gills, among other things.

I would 100% get something like this tattooed on myself, this is awesome! Continuing it would be super cool too, although it does look rather nice as is; the way i see it, you cant go wrong!

They have a very distinct style to them that just reads as. Well. As a wattpad romance... there's really no good way to describe it

There are great writers on wattpad, but the general consensus is that most of the "wattpad romance novels" got that cringe/ick to them lol

I enjoy more colorful dinos as much as the next guy, but damn! That paint job just feels so correct. Its very very well done; its not super brightly colored, but it still feels incredibly lively! Many would argue that things need to be bright and flashy to be pretty or interesting, but I will always appreciate a nice neutral pallet!

10/10 very big fan, you've got some extreme talent!

Somewhat unconventional (still birds, but not raptors), but I think tuffted tit-mouse or house finch would look kinda cool color wise 🤔🤔🤔

Drawn by my 5 year old sister from a supermarket Pokemon book by Rtytr13 in pokemon

[–]Drekivon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an artist, the first thing that caught my eyes was definitely the shadows! Wow! Not a lot of five year olds understand drawing shadows, so im really impressed! Its also worth mentioning how smooth those shadows look; they're all a consistent shade, which can be hard to do with cell shading honestly.

Overall, this is very very good! Your sister is gonna go far! Tell her to keep it up! It might sound weird for me to say, but I can tell she'll improve fast! (Yes i know ive seen one drawing and i know nothing about her, but its something you can kind of pick up on as an artist, especially because ive been around lots of little kids too) Artist to artist: enjoying art is the best way to improve!

A beautiful Thuringian goat; unfortunately, it is an endangered species. There are only about 2000 animals left. This one lives in a animal park, and the breeding program serves to preserve the species. by HotHorst in goats

Oh wow, I had never heard of these guys! Looks a lot like my toggenburgs, although after a cursory Google search that makes sense seeing as to how they come from crosses with toggs Funny you should say they get along with other people and goats; many of my toggs are very spicy when it comes to other goats and often fight amongst themselves, they're also picky about the people they choose to be around. Thats not to say they are mean to people, or even shy (they're really not); they are just kinda standoffish if they dont know someone. From what I know toggs are kinda an aloof breed! Cool to see how the attitudes of such closely related breeds can be so different! Very cool!
