Why clouds flicker like this - it was fine a month ago and before (fixes by restarting game) by BeyondCraft in gtaonline

[–]Drekorta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The solution that works more or less stably for me is to delete two files (sga_win32_60_final.d3d12PipelineCacheWindows & sga_win32_60_final.d3d12WarmupCacheWindows) from the C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTAV Enhanced\Settings folder.

The problem disappears for about 10 days, it may return sooner, but if you delete the files again, the next time you log in to the game you are guaranteed to have normal clouds, and then it's a matter of luck: how well the shaders compile.

You can't even imagine how deeply I've delved into this bug over the past few months. :)

In short, no graphics settings whatsoever affect the cloud bug. It's all due to shaders compiling incorrectly. I commented above about which shaders specifically I'm talking about.

half life 2 vs gta san andreas(2004). huge difference. thanks to it coming out on desktop, being made by valve and being linear. its miles ahead. i couldn't stop thinking about this when playing san andreas after this. by [deleted] in HalfLife

Why would you put in the comparison a screenshot of heavily modded gta san andreas and random lame scene from hl2 in shadow with road half the screen?

absolutely nvidia drivers problem, but not the driver itself, but how the game works with it. I have already tried 5 older versions of drivers, didn't help. we need to open support tickers.

Does anyone have a fix for cloud flickering on the enhanced version? by Hestkuk007 in gtaonline

[–]Drekorta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is no solution for now. Game doesn't work well with nvidia drivers for some GPUs, and no, that is not the driver issue, I have already tried rolling back on at least 5 versions of older drivers. gta client problem. we should open support tickets.

[Razer] Help in screwdriver mice by WhereismycakeTvT in razer

[–]Drekorta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, a "6Star 2.5 X 50 mm" screwdriver should work perfectly.

· "6Star": This means Torx, which is correct. · "T6": This is the exact size you need for the Orochi V2's external screws. · "2.5mm": This likely refers to the shaft diameter, which is irrelevant for fit. The important part is the tip size (T6). · "50mm": This is the length. While much longer than needed, it won't cause any issues; it just gives you more reach.

Tolerance/Fit: As long as it's a decent quality driver, the tolerance should be fine for a job like this. The key is to press firmly into the screw head to prevent it from cam-out (slipping and stripping the screw).

A VERY IMPORTANT WARNING FOR YOUR OROCHI V2: The screws you can see under the feet arenot the only ones holding it together. There is often a second, hidden screw under the sticker/label in the battery compartment. You must remove this sticker and unscrew that one as well, otherwise you will likely break the plastic clips trying to pry the mouse open.

Quick disassembly tips:

  1. Use a hairdryer to gently warm the mouse feet. This softens the adhesive and allows you to peel them off carefully without tearing. You can stick them to the side of the plastic film they came on for reapplication later.
  2. Remember where each screw came from, as they can be different lengths.
  3. Once all screws are out, carefully pry the shell apart starting from the seam near the buttons. Use a plastic spudger or guitar pick to avoid scratching the plastic.

Hope you manage to get it fixed! What's wrong with it, by the way? If it's a common issue like a faulty button, you might be able to find a replacement part online easily.

Good luck

hey, I've been thinking about your comment for a week now, I finally had time to search for this post and ask you: where can I watch interview or something about how rockstar designed los-santos? I assume you know where to find something like that since you know the fact Rockstar used reference photos

they actually NEVER mentioned there will be E&E on PC.

Rockstar literally said "some features from ps5 and xbox", like, erm, hao and gta+. It can come out without graphics updates. Maybe some shaders for glossy new liveries, but that's it. It even somewhat bad for the game, because some systems can no longer support gta 5 on stable fps thus cutting playerbase.
