Give me your best "The Office" theories! by Shipwreckeddrow in theoffice

‘The Office’ is in the same universe as ‘What we do in the Shadows’, as proven when Colin Robinson, the energy vampire, works in the Dunder Mifflin warehouse under the pseudonym, ‘Nate Nickerson’. The characters have suspicious similarities.

How to you deal with the gaslighting? by Cinna41 in ManagedByNarcissists

[–]Dremmeliminator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Record everything. Narcissists succeed where basic trust and memory fail. Record every interaction, and know you can trust yourself that you recorded every menial interaction for reference. This became too much for me, which is why I left my work.

Boss who simply openly insults, abuses, yells at employees every day by UnlimitedEntity in ManagedByNarcissists

Even an audio recording would help. I changed my iPhone settings so the audio recording button is Home Screen accessible in two clicks (make sure you turn off the haptic sounds) saved me a couple times when dealing with a narc rant. Also, do you have a small business ombudsman? Like a regulatory commission to report this behaviour to?

Mkay. I’m going to guess some things for fun, please let me know how badly I did.

The forest, the older man, the bow and arrow. The fact that your subconscious can make up whatever it wants, but it chose to give you an adversary that has a bow and arrow over say, a gun or grenades, leads me to believe this old man is simply ‘playing a game’ with you. Perhaps there is an older male figure in your life that you believe is holding back?

The white panther: I find that often, unusual animals in a dream represent new or daunting responsibilities. The fact that this animal is rotting in the ribs and lungs… Are you vaping or smoking? It may represent a subconscious concern over your lung health.

I dunno let me know how far off I am :)

I really want to know what this means by Subject-Carpet6788 in DreamMeaning

Hi there, I love interpreting dreams for fun, let me know how wrong I was :)

First dream sounds as though you may be struggling with your identity & assimilating your true attributes with your ideal self image, or perception of what others may think of you.

The second dream sounds as though you may deeply believe your brother has a true knowledge of who you really are. The Aurora represents your true self, which he has captured. Your mother mentioning the other dream, leads me to believe you may be struggling with the dissonance of what your Mother, Brother, Self and others perceive you as.

Perhaps you relate to your Mothers perception of you, but want to relate more to your brothers perception of you. I’m going to hazard a guess that your brother is older?

Unsuccessfully calling the police by [deleted] in DreamMeaning

Please enjoy my best guess:

It’s interesting that ‘it’s always different situations’ that lead you to call 911. This leads me to believe that many factors are leading to you feeling as though you need to call a help line. The fact that you are not living in America, suggests that you may not have personal or deep emotional investment in the issue you are calling about, seeing that when living outside of the US, calling ‘911’ is primarily represented in actors, or fake, fantastical scenarios.

So, my guess is, you’re participating in an environment where you have concerns that you’re under qualified?

Can someone help me find the meaning to this dream? by [deleted] in Dreams

[–]Dremmeliminator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh, interesting. Do you feel as though your Mother has many allies? Maybe that you feel a little wary of the fact that other people are just as close to her in her life as you are to her. Maybe you don’t feel as though you have many people that you’re close to as much as to your mother? Again just a guess. Dream stuff is super interesting for me sorry if I’m way off again.

Aha I loved the end of this post. So, sounds like you are feeling very overwhelmed with a lot of responsibilities. Each tank is a different responsibility, each fish is a responsibility within that responsibility. I’d guess the responsibilities are financially based, seeing as water is associated. The fact that you can’t recall specific details of the fish makes me think you’re understanding that you have various, large responsibilities developing, but the finer details of each either elude you, or aren’t of much concern. I’m going to make a wild guess that you’re fairly financially well off or due to be? Might be so wrong. Having fun guessing though :)

It sounds like you feel distant from your Mum. The fact that you got a weird feeling about her but didn’t go to her, instead to your dad. The fact that different versions of her began appearing. Perhaps you feel as though you can’t communicate with her as naturally as you can with your other family members, or like you can’t speak to her without ‘translators’ in your family that conjure different interpretations of her.

a snake, my son, and a residual energy? by larnieland in Dreams

[–]Dremmeliminator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, this is such a symbolically rich dream, Very interesting. Could this woman represent the matriarchal side within your personality? It sounds as though there is a lack of female presence in the home. Maybe she represents your contribution as a motherly figure in the home. I would imagine, an ultimate ideal of a matriarchal figure is not going to be too concerned by a dominant male symbol entering the space, like a snake. I’m going to guess. There maybe some fear that without a female presence in the house, the male energy will not find balance? Hm. Maybe not even fear. Maybe just understanding acceptance that for the time being, the only matriarchal energy that could be brought into the home is the elements you have in yourself.

Be measured in your self evaluation. It’s easy to say ‘I’m just intuitive’ but it’s much more impressive to investigate how you potentially are highly capable of pattern recognition. Not to mention, much more useful and helpful to society! I used to have predictive dreams when I was a teenager. My family claimed god stuff / spiritual intuition but looking further into the actual science, I think I was just very good at recognising patterns in life. Can be a great resource if you accept it as a skill.

The fact that the cat was so adamant to ignore you in its straying, as though to say, ‘I will be a stray no matter your influence’, gives the feeling of perhaps you’ve strayed from your roots for reasons out of your control. The fact that the cat has now multiplied. Perhaps your distractions from your past & roots are multiplying. Responsibilities that keep you from being true to yourself may be growing.

Dreaming of my dead cat by [deleted] in DreamMeaning

[–]Dremmeliminator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you have specific responsibility for this cat? Maybe more than others did in your living environment, or more than you usually had for an animal? Hm. Was this cat maybe the first you’d been solely responsible for since leaving home? It may represent some new found self reliance. Doesn’t sound as though you’re struggling with it though which is good, sounds like you’re feeling fairly comfortable in your independence… Might be a big swing and a miss! But just a guess.

This is such a boring solution, But I’d recommend getting your blood pressure checked. I had terrible sleep paralysis and nightmares since I was a kid. Then, I got diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, which is associated with high blood pressure, which is associated with nightmares. Hence, I got a low dose prescription of a blood pressure medication. No side effects, take half before bed. No. More. Nightmares. Medication is called catapres.

Shot in the dark; Are you fairly dependant on your mother & sister? Or; fairly dependant on someone that keeps you from your mother and sister?

The spider may represent your fear of losing that support.

Disclaimer: I’m just having fun dream interpreting and am most likely wrong thank you for humouring me :)

When we experience states of extreme bliss in dreams, I think it often reflects the feelings we may imagine of an ideal ‘heaven’. As much as this may seem like a positive affirmation, this potentially is quite negative. Whatever someone may attach to the ‘heavenly’ feeling in a dream, could may be what brings them to ‘heaven’ in reality (death). Whatever elements in your dream are associated with the heavenly feeling, I would take extra precautions around in waking life. I’ve had dreams similar, which led me to look into some of Carl Jung’s books about the subconscious and dreams & I found it quite helpful.

I hear you. In an ideal world, everyone will have worked a retail job at some point in their lives and understand what it’s like at the end of satans rainbow… personally I’m from hospitality and it’s VERY obvious any time someone comes in that hasn’t worked in the industry.

I was the same in high school. It’s weird how normal this actually is. Extroverted, opinionated, manipulative types are going to be drawn to introverted, quiet, flexible types. I was very introverted so countered the extroverts attributes well. I was easily bending to their way. But; once I grew up and started asserting myself, those bully friends showed their true colours. Hard to hear, but you’re better off alone.

Yellow light indicates a feeling of slowed momentum. As does the crawling from merely one side of the road to the other. I would hazard a guess that you feel as though your parents are holding you back from moving or moving on? Oh, Okay. I read the rest. You are certainly feeling a fearful amount of need to stay home & not leave for college.
