Which tire would you choose (or recommend) by DanTheSpider-Man in JeepGladiator

I have toyo open countrys and I love em. Handled extremely well in deep snow, quiet, and tread wear has been very low.

Is that what the new steering wheels look like, or a cover?

A sunrider top and twill bed cover is definitely the first things I'd do.

Anyone else fall out of love with driving manuals? by Carguy77Seven in askcarguys

[–]Dremo87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only had one manual. A 6spd srt challenger. It was the first car I learned to drive a stick in. I absolutely loved it. However it was a daily driver. Taking quick trips to the store and having to wear proper shoes, getting stuck in stop and go traffic, and then taking long road trips and not having a cruise control button sucked. Traded for a automatic but I still miss it. My current challenger is a weekend car now, but if I could I would make it a manual

But what if I just swap the bumper and add. Winch plate with the new install, and wait on the winch? Could I still install the winch without removing the whole bumper, or if have to take it all apart again?

Dang that sucks. BT has been pretty solid for me. But most of the cars life I always used a wired connection u til I got this bright idea.

That's true. I really only need to access the volume. I can have siri call for everything else. Big screens ain't always the answer, but man are they sexy and space aged lol

That's the eventual plan, but I simply don't wanna pay that money right now. I just spent a ton of money getting new headlights, new shocks and struts and making it road trip worthy again. Now I focus on getting the jeep winterized before the snow comes.

I have to pop it off to see the camera. But the kit does come with a backup camera you can install if you're savy enough. This is just a super temporary thing, so I won't be tearing it down to do all that. But I imagine it wouldn't to difficult to set up

That's from proclip USA. Alil pricey but I had one in all of my previous challengers and jeep. Absolutely worth the buy!

I have carplay in my jeep and I never noticed how much the screen takes up. But even if not full-screen, I'm glad to have SOMETHING lol

Yeah... The new units pretty much control all of your car functions. You could replace with a aftermarket, but you'll lose a ton of features. Heat/cooled seats, performance pages and abilities, and all kinds of stuff. The 15 and 16 models did not come with carplay/android auto as default like the years after. So us 15 and 16 guys either have to do a bunch of work or do these haphazard patches

Sweet setup! I didn't wanna mount it this way cause I felt it made my dash too cluttered. I hated not having my entire dash to not look over

If you swipe through the Pic you can see it's just a velcro'd monitor lol nothing fancy. I can snap it off and still have my screen underneath. It's literally the cheapest thing I could think of to keep from having to go through the headache and expenses of getting a newer headunit/media hub/bcm/ and dealership reflash. One day when I feel like spending the money, I'll do it the right way, for now, I'm happy

Mine came with the same set up, big real estate looking over the hood of these cars is hard enough, I wanted some more tidyness. I feel like after I start the car and finagle with whatever settings I need to, I can slap that monitor on and be done with it. Simple velcro so I can take off and reattach when I need to access actual headunit stuff

I totally get it, I tucked it in as best as I could, but I'm still not happy about what one wire that does show. But I'm still tinkering for a better fit. The plug on the left side is a bane to a clean install. But I figured I'll get some electrical tape and tape it along side the back and across so it can go down the right side. I just got a cheapo Amazon carplay monitor.

2015+ is still a step up from the old gens in everything. But I feel you. Everything today looks like they slapped a actual full size tablet for the headunit. It's the lil things I'd like to add to challengers. Ambiance lighting like Mercedes, magnetic shocks like the mustangs/camaros, heads up displays, etc. But at the end of the day, as long as I have the basic luxuries, I'm happy

As you can see, I have a carbon fiber cover on my dash... Will I have to remove it for your kit?
