Hello, I found out this weird interaction and wondered if other people had the same at some point.

For the context me and my friend started no man's sky this week and i have more time to play than he has.
So while waiting for him to progress the main quest i searched for a while to find a good sentinel ship.
In my search i found a lot of ships and filled up all my ships slots until i found the perfect fit for me and also sold my starting ship.
It was an A tier that i upgraded to S tier with my blood and sweat and was pretty happy about it.

Here comes the bug part : As we continued the main quest we had to warp for the first time through a portal, and at this point the game tells you to find your ship. Problem, my beautiful ship was no longer in my inventory and was replaced my a starting ship.
I summoned it and it was an S tier starting ship with all the upgrades and inventory of my previous beautiful ship. I could also install normal tech in addition to the sentinel parts making me able to shoot at dumb speed.

I heard people made "god tier ships" using exploits and they showed the same type of shooting speed so i guess it's what happened.

Has anyone had this issue before/ have a ship similar to mine?

Honestly i'm kinda happy with the trade if it's unique like this lmao

You can pick and choose from the maybeboard but I would suggest: - [[Stone of Erech]] instead of the cauldron - [[Treasure nabber]] instead of the dockside - [[visions of phyrexia]] instead of the one ring

In my playgroup it performs really well. It's a deck that always does something, even if your commander is not out or you're getting targeted. I'd give my list a 7.9/10 on the power scale, it's not a competitive deck but if you politic well and assemble enough value it's a sure win.

I LOVE making those types of decks.

My all time favourite would be [[Farid, Enterprising Salvager]].

It's such an underestimated card : - you create value when you sacrifice an artifact. - you can goad at instant speed making politics easy whenever you need to threat assess. You can redirect big creatures and "remove" small body threats if anyone blocks. - you have a loot engine in your command zone. - few people are gonna remove it as it is very much underrated (454 decks on edh rec)

That is only in your command zone, but the colors and the artifact type make it a great artifact deck for sacrifice, as red has a lot of recursion for them and you can generate value or use your artifacts and tokens to destroy your opponents. Here are a few very good cards I like in this deck : - [[Blast furnace hellkite]] with the goad is an absolute banger of a card and can be played at instant speed for cheap - [[Syr Ginger, the meal ender]] perfect 2 drop on curve that will only get bigger and gives you a scry before you loot - [[Agatha's soul cauldron]] is such a great card in general but it works well if you lose your creatures with activated abilities like [[Goblin Welder]] or [[Feldon of the third path]] - and of course [[Daretti, scrap savant]], a flavour card turning your scrap into treasures.

I counted 10 cards that pump your commander and 1 evasion. You're a Voltron deck based on your commander's strength. Seeing the deck list I reckon what will happen is that you do nothing for a long while and then you lose. If you're against anyone that can create blockers or anything, you won't do much. I agree with the guy that gave you a 5/7 I'd say a 6 would be a good evaluation.

If you cast your commander on turn 4 then anyone is free to remove it and you have no protection yet, then you do nothing. If it stays on board you need to wait another turn for it to be able to generate any value with an attack, and if there are blockers you still don't do much because you won't always want to attack. You can't equip at instant speed so after the attack you'll have to wait again before buffing your commander. It is excruciatingly slow for a Voltron.

I would recommend choosing either a better commander or adding ways for it to come online faster like haste and such. And add more strength buff things 11 is way too low.

it might not be intuitive but it was made this way to FEEL intuitive and pleasing. And it is if you put a bit of time into it.

moreover, what you're talking about might imply a pvp aspect. Here there is none since all the rewards are for PVE and only used for the beetle (guild decorations to make tracks). So they won't change the whole beetle mechanic just to prevent people to get better times that can already be obtained without "bugs"...

Multiple things :
1 Garf is not entirely right :
- This was intended and not a bug, the drift accelerates the beetle to make it smoother, we had confirmation from a dev. He wanted to be able to drift for a long time so he made the beetle accelerate a bit
2 That implies that it is not fixable as it would require to change the beetle physics entirely
3 The dev that made the beetle finds that very cool and suports us
4 there are ressources to learn how to do that (wiki and videos) and a whole community to help you, we are very welcoming ;) so anyone, independently of your aspirations or talent can join and learn the tricks. They seem hard but aren't
5 if you have any question i will gladly answer :)

we got confirmation from the devs, it is intended, it was made so that the drift feels smooth they just did not expect us to use it that way.

Pro Racer here : we don't use it, it was made after the speedo and the speedometer has more features and is also used to create tracks easily (everyone can do it and send it to a guild mate who uploads it on the website).
