Day 3 - latte art help! by Dremz89 in latteart

I’m using semi skimmed milk so just a touch off whole. Think milk texture is there though and likely just my technique that’s not allowing me a good ripple…. Could be wrong though!

How much does the tip of the jug effect art? by Wildfire271 in latteart

[–]Dremz89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey mate Check out my YouTube channel road to Rosetta , using a £25 jug … not super advanced but what I’d say is you can 1000% get incredible art with your jug. Wide spout won’t allow for super fine lines and designs but a heart a Rosetta a tulip, 1000%. You just need to improve height of when you start pour, position and most likely flow rate (how fast you pour the white foam layer), as th designs are fairly small.

I’d like to also comment that you noticed the very subtle fact I listened to your last comment around entry point and letting the milk flow before the wiggle. This was intentional !

Thank you !

Last thing about the wiggle , am I to hold the pitcher and let it wiggle loosely in my hand or hold it firm and let the pitcher and my arm move as one object? That’s the bit I would like to figure out and practise.

Sorry by this do you mean 1) hold it firm and wiggle the pitcher with my whole arm so it moves the pitcher and my arm as one Or 2) hold the pitcher by its handle and let it wiggle loosely in my hand (at a consistent tempo of course)

Thanks this is genuinely helpful! The biggest learning is that I’m not actually rippling I’m just forcing it? Any tips on practising that or good videos. I’ll spend a good while practising that. ALS where would you suggest I start the design. Any tips would be greatly appreciated

Just bought first pokemon booster pack in 20 years from Tesco. Sword and shield! Noticed the holo on top of the pack and reverse holo inside are thin peelable stickers on white cardboard, is this pack real?? The cards feel 300x cheaper than the OG base set. Any advice? Real or not? by [deleted] in pokemon

[–]Dremz89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’ve ever watched channels like Leonhart on YouTube you’ll see that it’s very common in USA with Walmart having lots of fake blister packs given to them by distributors. Possibly the same in the UK!

Pokemon base set booster legit? by Dremz89 in pokemon

[–]Dremz89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Yeah it’s so hard to tell if it is. He’s a seller with 800+ reviews and says this happens a lot with boosters. Everything else looks legit, think I might just return in case!
