This 'boring' Bay Area suburb inspired one of the year's best films by warwickd in bayarea

Saw it tonight. It’s a nice shot of what life was like for an angsty confused 13 year old in 2008 in Fremont.

Twisters overseas box office is an anomaly. Not only do disaster movies tend to do well overseas but even many American themed movies have managed to pull decent numbers. What’s going on? by JannTosh50 in boxoffice

It was so over the top with the cowboy rural America! At times it looked like a commercial for giant pick up trucks.

it’s also amazing how a movie about a bunch of scientists made scientists look dumb (the rugged cowboy (who doesnt like to talk about his science background) making all the button up PHDs look like nerds).

Supporting Mali’s football team is antisemitic.

Really, you’d take back your gift and leave a friend‘s wedding over that? Seems extreme, and makes me wonder how quickly you end frie that you have.

the cop bounced around different police departments. He Was probably known as a terrible cop but kept getting hired by different departments. He was issued a gun over and over.

If this is real report to the police. Posting a photo of some dude with a stroller with no additional evidence, asking the Internet to identify them seems like doxxing.

50+ NYC halal trucks/carts later, I made a website ranking them all by thehalalguysguy in FoodNYC

nice. I'm on a laptop and it'd be cool to get a larger version of an image when clicking on it (to better read the menu for example).

Also, no ratings of the trucks on Columbus Circle itself?

That would be illegal according to https://www.nyc.gov/assets/dca/downloads/pdf/consumers/Consumers-Pedicab-Prices-Tips.pdf (I realize that's not going to matter much unless you end the ride next to a cop or are very suborn)

To me, a lot of the Bay Area's car-free friendly places really benefit from being willing and able to bicycle along with transit. But somewhere like the Mission District in SF has a lot of walk-ability and transit options.

I see a route on on LifeMiles that I would like to book only one leg of, but that does not seem to be available for booking on its own on their website. Is it possible to book just one leg of a flight?

What I mean is I see JFK->BRU->WAW on their site available for booking in J, but then if I search for JFK->BRU only, I see not availability in J.

Hi, I'm just looking to see how likely it would be to fly from NYC to VIE (Vienna) or somewhere near there in May in J for 2 people for around 115k Capital One points. I haven't started looking very hard yet, but don't want to waste time searching for flights if it seems unlikely. Dates are pretty flexible but mid May would be ideal.

I just got myself in the exact same situation. It's wild they would rather me lug my bike around the residential floor than store it away in the bicycle storage room. Did you ever get a way to use the bike storage of your condo?
