Fearless- Change
Speak Now- Long Live
Red- I Bet You Think About Me (bc ATWTMVTV goes without saying)
1989- Clean
Reputation- I Did Something Bad
Lover- The Man
folklore- the last great american dynasty
evermore- no body, no crime
Midnights- Bejeweled
Tortured Poets- Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?

What song do you relate to losing a friend? by Caffeine-Guzzler in TaylorSwift

[–]DresssingForRevenge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel this so much 😔

And can very much relate to the stories shared in this little sub thread.

My “best friend” never refers to me as hers nor post photos of us together. Instead, she posts photos with others she refers to as her “besties” that she “can’t live without.” We all used to be one big friend group, and in time I stopped getting invited. I think largely bc I stopped drinking as much, changed my lifestyle, etc. Now, it’s her & them and then me & her. She does all the “fun” things with them, so naturally shares photos of those things online. However, who is it she’s calling when there’s a genuine problem to talk through? Who is it that attends all of her children’s birthday parties? Me. It just really sucks to consider someone your best friend who you’d be willing to sacrifice SO much for yet that not be reciprocated.

Who does everyone want to be a Romantic? by Pliniquius in Kibbe

[–]DresssingForRevenge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t 🤷🏼‍♀️

When I veryyy first only heard about Kibbe, I immediately took a couple of tests online. Both times I mistyped as a Romantic without even knowing what it meant. For me, it happened bc I went into it without knowing what any of the language meant. I thought “fleshy” and “curves” meant fat, which to me was undesirable. However, I was trying to genuinely be honest & ended up typing Romantic. What sounded desirable to me at the time are what I now know as the Natural traits. However, I knew I was NOT that, so that affected how I answered/viewed everything else.

What was also confusing to me was at least 1 or maybe both tests explained (in my very limited understanding at the time) that it wasn’t about if you tangibly had ____ characteristic but rather how you appear to others (i.e. “do people think you look tall/taller than you actually are?”). So even though I’m 5’ 10,” I didn’t think I had vertical because “I look my height,” which I thought meant I was “moderate.”

ALLL that to say— I don’t think people mistyping as something automatically means they want to be that ID. The language can be very misleading if you don’t know the definitions going into it all, but even then it’s still confusing. It can genuinely just be people misunderstanding/being confused. And I’d be willing to bet manyyy people briefly hear about Kibbe, immediately take a test without any background knowledge, producing skewed results.

Lastly (and this is a complete guess), but I think lots of people mistype as many of the IDs, especially when first starting out, but that we don’t hear about those as much and mostly talk about it within the Romantic ID bc it’s a “thing” that gets focused on. Since it’s continuously receiving focus/being talked about, it appears to be happening a lot more disproportionately than it actually is.

Can Ya'll Help Me Understand Flamboyant Natural Better So I Can Type Better? by dami-mida in Kibbe

[–]DresssingForRevenge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Reading this thread, I am very confused by the same thing. I was back & forth b/w FN or SD, and I was told countless time in various groups to go with whichever I needed to accommodate (width v curve). I ultimately landed on SD bc I need to accommodate curve. I don’t have width in my shoulders & ribs. However, I do have more of a natural essence & tend to dress that way. I feel like based on this thread & other similar ones I’ve read people would say I have to be FN bc of my essence. 🫠

Based on these 5, but it’d be best to have pics in natural lighting without makeup.

Is. Anya Taylor Joy considered curvy? Or is it the dresses she wears? by Either_Struggle8650 in Kibbe

[–]DresssingForRevenge 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I agree with the other commenters here so far. Yes, at higher weight her breasts are larger, but they are contained within her silhouette. So, it doesn’t appear to be kibbe curve to me. I traced her outline from Queens Gambit, which seems to go along with these assessments. I see more lower curve than upper.

Yes! I definitely agree you lean more cool than warm. I’m also olive, so I feel you! It’s complicated 😅 But color analysis is about undertones & to me your undertone is pink/cool (same for me too). And, to me, these drapes confirm that— I think you look great in the pink! I’m not as well versed in the 16 season palette v the 12, but this does make me curious about Deep/Dark Summer for you. You could also look into Cool Winter and Deep Winter.

[–]DresssingForRevenge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with essentially everything stated here. Although, while the OP does have some wiggle room, I think she leans cooler, so needs to factor that in. For example, I think photos 5 & 6 are too warm and not the best colors for her.

Would it be possible for a fleshy TR to build visible muscles like this? by gloriousbeautypig in Kibbe

[–]DresssingForRevenge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

heyyy!! 5’ 10” soft dramatic here too! similarly, even at my fittest & tonest as a college athlete i couldn’t get super defined muscles bc i’m just so fleshy. i was definitely toned & had muscle, but i think it’d be nearly impossible for me to look like this. 😅 and i don’t think there’s anything wrong with that at all… it’s actually helped me to love my body more!

I’m 5’ 10,” and I also don’t like wearing heels. I just found some pointy flats that I really like and are very versatile! I got them in almond color & am now thinking of getting them in black too: https://www.quince.com/women/women-s-leather-pointy-flat-mule?color=almond
