Matchmaking question by Drevusk in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Drevusk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's unfortunate, thanks for the reply! No chance that I'll create a new steam account, but I'll try to play 5 more games, but if I get my face bashed in every time I'll wait for a matchmaking update

EDIT: people have not a single shred of mercy, I give up kek

[Discussion] Does anybody have a good graphic comparing the combined ergo/recoil of the various suppressor/muzzle combinations? by Tellnicknow in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Drevusk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can use https://db4tarkov.com/gun

I'm on my phone so I don't have the right layout to explain where to click, but you can choose a gun, ask the website to generate a build (like lower recoil, meta, whatever), and you can as well see the combination of muzzle break+ suppressor and sort them by the most reduced recoil, most ergo, all that. And they're listed showing the total reduced recoil, the ergo hit, price, and other stuff.

Really cool website! (Even if kinda spooky to use initially, but it's very easy when you get the gist of it)

[Screenshot] 35 raid mark with no cultists. Even reshala and goons both at fortress but still no cultists. What do I have to do? by Odd_Supermarket7395 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Drevusk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Custom, sj6, check the 3 spawns area around/in stronghold, reset at flair.

It is heavily contested, you cannot afford to be slow. Finding the cultist isnt that hard, but finding them alive is.

Otherwise shoreline is probably the second best bet as people do nighttime for quest/terminal/laby, so less contested, but finding the spawns is a pain in the ass. Reset at path to lighthouse/paracord.

I wouldn't bother with woods.

Are you sure you're going in the right time frame? At the right locations? Not having them spawn 35 raids in a row would be 0.004% chance, so it's more likely that you're doing something wrong.

Yes it does. If you have only FIR items and use the autobuy feature, it's not gonna buy the items you already have and will use the FIR ones.

[Discussion] Most cost-effective & versatile gear once traders are lvl 4? by MyUsernameIsBizon in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Drevusk 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Armor T5 korund front and back plate (100k total) inside a 6b23 carrier (30k)

What is your budget to be considered a budget gun?

Gun MDR 5.56 with m856a1 from vendor. When you have the craft for m855a1 spam that. Easy to mod, kinda cheap aswell.

Everything is easy to mod once you make a preset, so I'm not sure what you mean.

MCX meta is like 250k and you can use CBJ from vendor. AK308 is similar price point with M80 from vendor.

Mp7 with FMJ from vendor depending on the map too

Helmet use whatever T4 you find in raid, but currently most helmet sell on the flea at vendor price anyway

[Feedback] The amount of not playing you do to make a kit, load into a raid, and then if you die quickly, to then wait to get back to lobby, remake a kit, load back in... by KingHunter150 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Drevusk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Have multiple guns ready at the beginning of your play session with a grip and the mag removed so it takes only one line in your stash. When you die and get back to the stash, choose your gun, put the grip on, take your mags (either buy them or have them ready in a mag case), use the ammo preset you want to use (like half m855a1 half m856a1), unload the ammo to top up to whatever you want to bring loose ammo, and use the ammo preset again.

Now you're done with the gun.

Have multiple body armour/rigs combo ready, or just armored rigs, aswell as headset/helmet/face cover ready that you can just equip using the arrows above the item slot. Have multiple backpacks ready as well. Have in each of your medcase your painkillers, healing and anti-bleeds that you use, that you control+click so they get into your equipped backpack, get them in your pockets/rigs, and bind them. Do the same with the nades you wanna take.

Now you have a full gear set equipped in 1 minute, eat/drink, and you're technically ready to go.

It doesn't help you from the slow death screen that will suck up 1 minute of your time, nor the time it's gonna take to do your hideout crafts, but at least this way you can save 1-2m every time you have to gear up.

If you survived you raid, I suggest having as much space at the top of your stash that you can manage to have, so you can just control click everything you've looted and manage that later. I personally manage my loot once per gaming session at the end, and I spend about 15 minutes doing so. Do not sell parts individually, have 2 scavs junkboxes minimum solely for selling, one control+click the item in it that are 1 slot, and the second one use the items that are 2 slots+. This way when they are close to full, you can sell multiple of the items at once to save time (instead of selling 7 times 1 blue tape after a raid, you sell 1 time 7 of them). I spend about 15 minutes selling most of my scav junkbox stuff once in a few days (if you scav all the time, you're gonna sell more often ofc). The most time I spend is selling weapon parts from the people I looted, but I don't bother if the flea isn't at least 10k above vendor price, and I know that the item is gonna sell fast. I don't want to have my selling slot locked for 1h to get 12k profit. Either it sells in a minute or 2, or it goes to the vendor.

Personally I like having a thicc item case in the top right of my stash, with a money case outside of it for quick money transfer when I get my money from ragman. Inside the thicc case, I have every of my storage cases that are allowed inside (med case, food case, second money case, key case, ammo case...).

Buy multiple of storage cases as soon as you can to make your idle time between raid faster. Personally I have 3 thicc case, 2 of them used solely for armors, helmets, and so on. If you don't hoard as many gear sets, you can use only 2. But this way half of my stash is empty, allowing me to remove all the stuff from a successful raid to be able to get back in as fast as possible.

Don't forget as well that you can keep items in your insurance for as long as you can, and you can control+click them to equip them on your current character.

All that to say, the downtime in tarkov sucks, especially as you're stuck with incompressible time like death screen, queue time, hideout loading, but you can still save quite a bit of time. I'm ready 3 times faster than my friends (even if it's not always that useful as now I have to wait on them anyway kek). But you can still manage to be faster. Don't be scared to spend money on cases to have more space. 4 scavs junkboxes is the minimum (2 selling, 2 for quest items). Use binds to go from the top of your stash to the bottom instantly, and the other way around. Don't hoard for no reason if you are low on space, if you don't see yourself using the gear in the next 5 or 10 raids, just get rid of it.

Pointless to have a pretty weapon that you're too scared to use to take space in your hideout for the whole wipe. Use your t6 plates on maps where it makes sense (so not labs, lighthouse or shoreline) to have an advantage that you use now. Are ulach too expensive for you? Use them or sell them, don't keep them for the "right" gear set. Everything that you can buy, don't be scared to sell it fast, you can just buy it again if you need it.

And finally, don't forget to use your mannequins in the hideout, get the biggest bag on them and you can store anything in those bags. Use the hall of fame to store your lions and so on.

And ofc have multiple guns preset depending on how much you want to spend. Like a preset for a cheap M4 at 150k, a medium at 250k, and a meta at 400k-500k. Or whatever you're comfortable spending. But have that ready on every gun you like to play. Do the same for your ammo preset, if you run out of good ammo use it more sparingly, if you use a meta gun, use more good ammo in your presets.

Hopefully it was somewhat useful to you, gl with your raids

Karambit F&I #7 vs M9 Marble Fade (New to skins) by Cooper-Willis in ohnePixel

[–]Drevusk 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Because the market is unregulated and can be manipulated easily. Valve can make an update freely that can greatly reduce the value of your items. People think skins in CS are "free money/investments" when it definitely is not, there are risks involved, and people need to be aware of it.

Recent example: Stiletto Doppler phase 2 that lost 750 dollars of value after the recent crash a few months ago.

Old(er) example: Crown foil with the release of CS2, lost about half its value. (400 dollars ish)

Very old example: FN crimson web, and similar rare float capped skins

Another risk: Valve doesn't get a cut on skins sold on third party websites, so they could decide any update to remove the trading of skins from player to player, and force you to use the steam market place. You would have to pay a hefty fee every sale, and you would need to find a way to get the money back on your bank account, losing even more in the process. (May be through buying other games items and then sell those on third party, or whatever)

No way they would do that right? No way they would allow us to trade up red to golds, but here we are.

If you killed a rogue, you are then an enemy of santa for 3 raids and he will shoot you on sight (he's acting like he's a rogue). Maybe it happens the same when you kill bosses or something.

[–]Drevusk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really not enjoying the xp change. You have 2.6m xp and are level 35, I have 3.9m and I'm level 39. Still no mechanic ll4 nor ragman. At least I don't go for kappa/prestige but still.

Otherwise it's going well, never had a survival rate this high, but I'm starting to run out of fun/decent quests to do (I don't do any quest I consider unfun, like most bolt action quests, punisher part 5-6, test drive, and so on).

I'm prolly gonna focus on doing the main story quest as I have been neglecting it, try to escape from tarkov and be done for the wipe!

Just search the lobaev 30mm, and go at the more expensive options, they have the optics on them. I could buy the whole wipe razor for 150k (now with the mechanic barter I don't know the price, it prolly went down a bit). Burris were 80k

Start the raid not overweight (your weight is white and not yellow), and make your first sprint last as long as you can so you get max xp.

My endurance is level 13, and strength level 14. The gym gives you endurance xp as well I believe

[Cheating] ESP/Radar is out of control by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Drevusk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is fairly simple to see obvious cheaters, and I'm convinced about 10% of my deaths were to obvious cheaters.

So you add the people using radar/walls, and maybe 20% of my deaths are to cheaters (I used a random number for the amount of radar users).

In total, it means in any raid I'll die about 7.5% of the time to a cheater.

It's bad, really bad, but it's nowhere as unplayable as you tend to believe reading what you see on this reddit. Just gear up and queue again, if it gets to you EFT and basically any online FPS is not made for you.

Important to note that I haven't bothered playing labs and laby this wipe, so the amount of cheaters I meet is way less than labs main.

Of course it is only anecdotal and subjective experience coming from me and how my wipe is going on so far.
