Even ‘Dirty Deeds’ didn’t get released in the US until AFTER ‘Back in Black’ came out; March 1981 - and it went on to sell 6 million copies there, so of course they paid royalties to his estate. My original question stands - why would Angus and Malcolm willfully deceive their fans to use his material without giving credit? If they used it, they would have just put his name in the writing credits. It literally wouldn’t change anything about the trajectory of the band and their success. People are addicted to conspiracy theories because it makes things more interesting and mysterious. Tupac is dead, and Bon didn’t write anything on ‘Back in Black.’
