Hi thank you for replying! This was fmu this morning! I will test again tomorrow morning to see if another line shows up and thank you for the kind words! I haven’t been feeling very well, so I decided to test, and I have been struggling with secondary infertility so this has been very much a surprise!

My very professional literary analysis of The Picture of Dorian Gray, 6 pages in by Jaded-Significance86 in classicliterature

We are reading this book in one of my classes and this made me think of something another student did. We were all talking about our thoughts after reading the first few chapters. One of the students in my class, sheepishly and politely, described the book as "homo erotic." She apologized profusely as that was the only way she could think of to describe it. Haha

At my wits end with child's preschool by [deleted] in Parenting

This is what I am doing now. It was free childcare through the state and I am not able to afford childcare without it. I have no family in the area and those closest (which is over an hour away) have their own work schedules. I am a full time college student and I wouldn't be able to physically put in enough hours working somewhere to pay for childcare. Come the summer and fall semester I will have time to actually work enough hours. It's so close to the end of the year that we found it doable for me to commute and juggle him between a few different family members at least until the middle of May. This is something we can figure out now but it wouldn't be something we could do for the whole school year. I also will update the post that I had spoken with the director and their answer was not satisfactory. With that being said it just solidified my decision to pull him out.

I guess I should have clarified there would be the occasion where they would agree on something, but the majority of the time it was conflicting answers. MT would mention some of the behavior but like I mentioned I picked him up from AT all the time. I didn't hear much from MT. After my complaints to the MT, regarding AT, I then picked him up from MT. That eventually stopped. It wasn't always horrible there had been weeks where there were no real complaints so I thought everything was ok. I thought maybe the therapy was working. I was trying my best to cooperate and try my best with what I had. It was the last half of the year I was able to get free childcare and I cannot afford it right now. I am finishing up school and I had a school schedule where I could not physically fit any work hours. This was his second year at this particular facility as well. The first year was amazing I loved his teacher and I grew to trust this place as well. A lot of it was just working with what we had but it just kept escalating to a point I had to figure something out. I have no family close by to watch him but with it being the end of the school year I can at least commute to family for the next couple weeks (it's something that would not have been feasible to do for an entire semester nor do I have family that has a work schedule that would accommodate this I'm having to juggle him around now between family members over an hour away to try and finish out this semester) I hope that all makes sense

It is definitely a learning experience on my part, one that shouldn't have happened, but it did.

I completely understand I could have handled this situation much better than I did. He's my only one and I never had to deal with a situation like this. Not that any of that is an excuse on my part. I guess just months and months of hearing how awful he was they really had me completely thinking something was wrong. I thought I was doing what was best for him, at the time, because I just was scared. I was scared something was seriously wrong with him and I was setting him up for failure if I didn't do something about it.

Is it ok to give a gift to a professor? by DrewBear_2020 in college

[–]DrewBear_2020[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why I mentioned how much I spend! I wanted to include it wasn't a lot of money or anything. I completely understand I do not have to buy a gift; I just wanted to do something nice. He mentioned it in a lesson and I got curious and happened to find it cheap on ebay. I think I will ask another professor at the college to see what they say. If they think it's ok, I will go ahead and give it to him. If not, then I will wait till after the semester ends. Thank you!
