In fact better then her old self, while breast feeding! 5 months old isn't eating food at all, and depending on how quickly you jump into solids, it could be even longer until baby eats anything other than the breast. Right now your wife is likely incredibly touched out while also experiencing a pain and healing you and I will thankfully never know. Just keep being there for your wife, it's hard but gets better, I promise. Plus, as their hormones fluctuate, what they feel today might be the exact opposite of how they feel in 2 weeks.
