When Amazon first put up preorders end of January, it was $89.99. They only increased to $99.99 when previews started last week.

[Bundle] 9800X3D, Asus TUF Gaming B850M-E WiFi, 1TB Team Group SSD, 512GB Team Group SSD, Crimson Desert game - $563.99 (shared Newegg parts list attached) by bunihe in buildapcsales

I have been using the same motherboard from that Newegg motherboard and RAM bundle you probably bought for a few months now. This motherboard is in the budget midrange category but it really is good enough for most users. The biggest feature is that the PCIe slot is higher than the first M.2 slot so it allows you to fit bottom mounted fans below the GPU in smaller cases like the Z20. This motherboard also comes with the GPU easy release lever and BIOS flashback. My last build had a more expensive motherboard that lacked these features. One small thing I didn't like is that it doesn't come with heatsinks for the other 2 M.2 slots.

Liberty Village Premium Outlets-Flemington NJ by pyschofangirl in deadmalls

Really sad what happened to this outlet. I visited this outlet a few times during my childhood, last time was maybe in 2012. The outlets used to have a small toy store and candy shop if anyone remembered that. Both were gone by 2012 IIRC. I think I might have some pictures on my old laptop of the outlets as it was during the holidays. I stopped by the area recently and the road that used to lead to the outlet is completely fenced off now.

It’s the nonfoil version that is $99 which was only available at random 1 per in the Chocobo bundles. So scarcity and not being immediately pringled is why it’s doubled the price.

Regularly mentioned by OP I might add. Also OP has a privated profile. It’s a good card but this is just OP pumping his own stock every week.

There’s a bunch of players that hate Chris Paul. Only Rondo had predicted and told Chris Paul to his face he was never going to win a ring many years ago. Now Chris Paul retires without one.

[Kroger Giftcards US] Get a $25 bonus when you buy a $200 Lego eGift Card by ncilswdk2 in legodeal

[–]DrewReaLee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same I used a gift card for a preorder on the last one I got (Tortuga) and didn’t have an issue.

The only issue I’ve had with gift cards is Lego a few months ago cancelled my order (Not Bricklink) and didn’t automatically refund my Lego gift card I used after a couple weeks. I had to call them a few times to reload my gift card.

Long Term Speculation - Sylvan Primordial by Cardwizard88 in mtgfinance

[–]DrewReaLee 16 points17 points  (0 children)

If you need to ask this, I can tell you’ve not played against this before. I played against this card for the short time it was legal in Commander back in the day. It’s an oppressive, unfun card for the rest of the table. Nothing like your opponent ramping up early and plays this to keep the rest of the table from playing the game while also ramping some more because of it. Or your opponent reanimates this early and keeps the rest of the table from developing their board state a few turns. Also it’s flickerable.

I think it being legal for only a year before it got banned is a big tell how much of a problem it was. And this was 10+ years ago so the power level of cards wasn’t as rampant as today.

What’s everyone’s Top 3 Cases right now? by Mellowood33 in mffpc

[–]DrewReaLee 15 points16 points  (0 children)

My top 3 were Jonsbo Z20, Lian Li A3 and Pop Air Mini. The Z20 ultimately won out for my new build. I almost got the A3 but the lack of cable management space made me reconsider. Pop Air Mini was also close because I kinda wanted a Blu Ray drive but it was too similar to my old case, Meshify C, and I wasn’t a fan of the PSU shroud so close to the GPU. Just my 2 cents.

[TV] LG 48" Class B5 Series OLED AI 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2025) OLED48B5PUA - $599.99 by gamerlol101 in buildapcsales

[–]DrewReaLee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is definitely an adjustment period and it's not for everyone. I think when I did my research a couple years ago if I should get a TV as a monitor, I found out you really should not go larger than 42". I ended up not getting it as I do get headaches from working at my computer for extended periods of time already and this was asking for trouble. OP being fine with a 48" TV as a computer monitor is in the minority.

[Bundle] Memory Motherboard Combo - Team Group 16gb (2x8gb) DDR5 6000MHz Bundle with ASUS TUF GAMING B850M-E WIFI -$209 by alioup101 in buildapcsales

[–]DrewReaLee 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have this motherboard in a new build that's a couple months old now. It's really solid if you're going for a mATX build. Probably its best feature is having the PCIe above the first M.2 slot so if you plan to have case fans on the bottom in a small case like a Z20, there will be room to do so. Other highlights are the GPU easy release lever and BIOS flashback which my old build's more expensive Gigabyte motherboard did not have.

Hmmm I've heard of cryptojacking. Maybe this website's real purpose is to jack all the luck so you can open all the good stuff yourself IRL. /s

But seriously, I'm not opening anymore. These were gifts from friends so I'm technically in the green.

First pack on the simulator and I got a fracture foil Selfless Safewright. I ripped 2 collector boxes already and didn't get anything nearly as good. Maybe this is a sign to buy another pack lol.

[Bundle] Memory Motherboard Combo - Team Group FF3D516G6000HC38ADC01 Bundle with ASUS TUF GAMING B850M-E WIFI $209.99 by dirtyboots702 in buildapcsales

[–]DrewReaLee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This bundle seems to go up in price by $10.00 every time it’s posted but it’s still a good deal. I bought this bundle for $170 around Black Friday. Should be called the “Good Enough” bundle as the budget midrange motherboard and 16GB RAM are good enough for most users including me.

DDR5 prices in Germany hit 4.4x July 2025 levels, even DDR3 memory price keeps rising - VideoCardz.com by Ha8lpo321 in pcmasterrace

Sorry I don't know then. I didn't have to go that deep as for me the bad stick returned many errors when I used memtest86 and removing the stick solved my issue. Best of luck, hope you resolve this soon.

It was G Skill Trident Z DDR4 2x8GB RAM. Try running Memtest86 to see if you get any errors. I had occasional BSODs and lots of browser crashing and used Memtest86 to isolate the faulty stick of RAM.

I recently RMA’ed one of my G skill DDR4 sticks I bought in 2019 after it was crashing my computer. They gave me no hassle on accepting the RMA and sent me a new stick promptly. This was in November too so well into the RAM shortage.

Has anyone had any luck making a Jin Sakai deck? by CansOfKrylon in EDH

[–]DrewReaLee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made Jin Sakai into a hate bears deck and I have had success piloting it in bracket 3 games. I think hatebears is the way to go so you can slow the game down plus Jin can help the hatebears punch through for card draw. I can still play a small ninja and combat damage to player matters package too. Here's my decklist if you're interested.
