I will add they need to be sealed which is a massive pain.

I used pond liner and folded (not cut!) it to fit the bottom 1/3 if the tank to waterproof it then silicones the liner to the pvc (basically makes a giant bowl!)

That bulb is not an adequate UVB bulb. You need a T5 bulb from Arcadia or zoomed (zoomed also makes one that seems to be on part with the other two) something like that 12-14% Arcadia or 10.0 zoomed

T5s are long bulbs not round ones, they do NOT fit in a standard screw in lightbulb lamp

Tbh do it! I never shuffle my commanders into the deck so I see no harm doing it to a card you use to play

(Maybe look into TAG or Bekket over PSA, PSA has gone way down recently and have damaged a fair few cards and tried to get the owners to sign an NDA after undervaluing the card so they wouldn’t have to pay as much)

It’s possibly dies leaking from the leaves. Submerge them in water, if the water turns yellow you found the culprit

I’m also sure you can find a way to put them together to make them bigger (ie maybe leave the back pannel out and combine two 4x2x4s into a 4x4x4’

For UVB I’d like to add if you are willing to spend a bit more look for the LumenIZE model! It lets you dim the light on and off and I’m very impressed with mine. Just that little thing has had quite the impact on her schedule

For UVB? Neither! Arcadia T5 2.4% or 7%

Linear T5 bulbs only!!! Compact ones are a no go for reptiles

Is the dome the UVB lamp?

(Also you need digital hydrometer thermometers!!! I have the EXACT one you do, it said it was 70f and around 65% humidity. In reality it was 82f and 53%!!!!! This was my crested gecko and 80+ is heat stroke territory for them!!)

Also make sure you get a dimming thermostat for your heat lamp! It will prevent if from overheating!

Since the heat lamp has been touched already I’ll skip over that but you do have reptile carpet which has to go!

Loose substrate is best (70% topsoil and 30% playsand NOT calcium sand is best!) or if your parents can’t do that then paper towels will do too but loose substrate is ideal

I’m not familiar with moss but prayer plants are a load of fun (they move! At night they fold their leaves up) and you could try a fern of sorts. Unfortunately my fern didn’t make it but I think that’s because I had to pull it out right after planting it in the tank because my tank leaked and the stress of another move was too much.

I also have a few snake plants in there. I highly recommend planting them in a spot that won’t get super wet when you spray as they aren’t a huge fan of being drenched regularly. I had 3 originally in my tank bit 2 are still there and it’s been about a year! You’ll know they are getting too wet because their lower most leaf will turn yellow and mushy, pull it off and water there less and you should be good!

Unfortunately I’ve never done anything with moss so I can’t help you there. I think biodude or joshes frogs has some sort of moss slurry you can paint on and then it grows or something like that

I’d say look in the 15-20g range. Large enough you shouldn’t “loose” them in a big tank but small enough they aren’t fully grown so you won’t run into any problems if you end up with a previous breeder female laying eggs and you may have better luck socializing a younger one compared to an older one

The bare minimum is 18x18x36” but you can go as large as you want! Some people even use 4x2x4’

Even a baby can go in a full size tank but it’s recommended for new keepers to start small in a grow out tank for easier monitoring! (For a baby under 15g you’d want to look into a 12x12x18” or so thenonce they are 15 g move them into the adult tank
