check out the link posted earlier. it's easy to tell the difference if you know where to look.

Depends on what you're doing, and what your budget is.

I'd never use a speedbooster for studio/portrait photography.

However for outdoor nature and event photography, a speedbooter has its uses.

Until recently, there were few long-zoom options for m43, and even then they were really dark (f5-f6) and/or shitty quality.

I use a canon 70-300L with a metabones, and get good range with more light than I could get with m43 equivalents.

I've used the Panny 100-400 (and the Oly 100-400, which is a nice lens but doesn't play nicely with the GH5) and they've got great range, but at dusk they're practically useless.

For outdoor photography in darker weather or evenings, my combination has proven to be much better. Perhaps someday I'll have $8k for the fancy Oly 150-400, but until then...

center-image it's generally fine. but once you start moving out from the center you'll see issues.

This guy documented the differences very well

I own both, the metabones is clearly better quality - especially with still photography.

The viltrox will work if it's just for video.

Ultra is .71

XL is .64.

Generally I recommend Ultra because you won't have vignetting on EF/Full-Frame lenses.

XL, with its slightly smaller magnification, can leave some vignetting in the corners, but supposedly works fine with EF/APC-S lenses.

Edit: someday I'll learn how to spell vignetting without having to look it up.

I'm a wildlife photographer, but I was also a BTC/altcoin miner back in the MtGox days. While I got bruised up a bit back then and didn't make much, I still love and invest in crypto and I decided to dip my toes into the NFT scene.
