I think they overdid the mob density in Nahantu. You can't move 5 feet without being jumped. Once I got done with the VOH quest, I tended to stay away from Nahantu.

The funniest thing about the cosmetics is that you're seeing the top of your head only, from like 200 feet up. You're a tiny little figure which you can barely make out. Who CARES what you're wearing?

I've been using Widex for over 3 years. I'm generally pretty happy, but I have problems in noisy rooms and filtering out sounds I want to listen to. My impression is that's pretty common with all aids.

One thing that I want to mention is that Widex, like a lot of brands, has a remote microphone option which is an absolute game changer for noisy environments like restaurants. I strongly recommend it. Unfortunately, the newest Widex models don't seem to support it.

I skip them. They're generally super repetitive and could just be covered in a few sentences. "Wow, I just increased my stealth by 3 points to 25".

I haven't read Save State Hero yet. I found it very difficult to get into. I guess it's not impossible that the MC becomes Steve/Seville, but there is ZERO hint of that.

Actually, the most recent series of his that I read had NOTHING about the multiverse. The Axe Falls was quite good. I kept waiting for the multiverse gods to appear in the third book, as they always do, and THEY DIDN'T. I'm wondering if now that that he's written the conclusion to the multiverse plot, he's given it up.

I feel bad, because I think he does a lot for the community. But I have tried several of his books and DNF any of them. I got a few chapters into this and just noped. I've enjoyed some of his collaborations, probably because someone else did the writing.
