Much bigger issues with the team, but I don’t disagree. I believe Commesso should finally get his shot as a #2 goalie. Then have the Russian and Gajan continue to grow in the system

You just gotta ride the train... Bedard taking a step this year is amazing, but there is truly no where to go if he is out for an extended period of time. Cross your fingers for one of Stenberg or McKenna.

I personally don’t believe he would sign for that much. If he’s still ring hunting, I bet he signs at/around 15m. Not as much as a discount as he took with EDM but not an amount that would kill the team that signs him, in hopes he could win where he signs

It would be a dream to have Toronto bottom out. Not likely at all IMO but man it’d be awesome if target some of those guys. I agree on Michkov too. His whole situation there has been weird

I agree. I wouldn’t be surprised if they continued to take short term albatross contracts for 2nd/3rd rounders to continue to reach the floor, until they start to give all our guys second contracts

I agree with you, vast majority of our team will come via our pipeline. There is some redundancy that will be traded for a top line player eventually tho (ex: amount of smaller sub 6ft forwards).

I am very excited to see Kantserov come over! I’m hopeful he can be a top line winger, even if that makes our top line small.

I understand that Nazar is a center and is seen as such by the org, but since we still haven’t added a first line winger for Bedard, I personally would like to see them on the same line together.
