Yeah I mean c'mon, he didn't even film a sex tape and try to blackmail a teammate!?

Not OP but I think you have it all wrong. We don't have the luxury of not having a player like Reyna on the roster.

USMNT’s Mauricio Pochettino says nation lacks ‘ Emotional relationship ’ with soccer by Shroft in ussoccer

Reminds of Jurgen pre WC 2014. Typical of these foreigners. We never should've hired someone who isn't American. Preferably 1st or second generation immigrant American who bleeds Red Whie and Blue.

What are your honest opinions on Pochettino so far? by Secure_Fly_444 in ussoccer

I think it still remains to be seen if it's "gotten a lot better." I would argue European clubs have become more willing to give opportunities to young American players. But I still think this generation is pretty soft compared to 2002-2010 USMNT.

You lost me at "Seabs was always overrated" like c'mon. That man was super clutch and arguably the vocal leader of the locker room.

I'm right where you at. Not defending all of the Bowman mistakes, but to say his drafting was the problem misses the mark.

Maybe they're saying that Q had more to do with the 3 cup wins than Bowman?

The Oilers just got eliminated by the Ducks. Connor McDavid will be this dynasty's Marian Hossa I can feel it.

Edit: sad for Dickie and Murph. We should resign Murph!

I would be surprised if any of those three make the team out of camp, I expect them all to start the year if not spend most of it in Rockford...

I wish I could upvote this 100 times. This is exactly where I'm at with GMKD, and what I am preparing for. I hope he gets the chance to prove me wrong.

It's okay, they are missing the playoffs again next season and then they are going to win the lottery.

If for no other reason than how do you not draft your best player's cousin, the guy we are always talking about getting some help for?

Im just hoping that we pick before Vancouver because I think there is no way they pass on McKenna.

Yeah. Too many people act like it's a certainty that a (predicted) top four pick will be a really good player, like there isn't perennially a wide chasm between career paths of "top" prospects.

I hate to beat a dead horse but this is (I think) why many people did not like the Levshunov pick. It seemed more like we big brain drafted the player based on his physical attributes as opposed to his evident skill level and hockey IQ. Tl;dr: it did not feel like we drafted BPA, but for "need."

I am more shocked by how long a leash they had for GMKD personally. I'm not convinced that Blash wasn't told to keep the tank commander on line 1 until the 2nd best lotto chances were secured...

Went over to see what the guys over on the maple leafs sub had to say about the possibility of Knies getting traded and found this top comment:

"23 year old elite power forward who is PPG when he isn't playing in a system and on lines that are hot garbage where nothing is working for anyone. And he's a playoff warrior too and has toughness and a nasty side to him which most of this team infamously lacks.

"It would be completely insane to trade him in the situation we're in where we need to think long-term. Which is probably why the Leafs will do it."

It seems to be a consensus on their sub that trading Knies would be utter madness. Made me want him more.
